I feel that not using adaman in this deck is a crime. You've got so many energy that getting a prime catcher on demand could really help rather than gambling
Adaman allows player to get whatever 2 card they like after they discard 2 metal energy from hand
You want to attach metal energies rather than discard them.
The main drawback of the deck is that your draw engine is entirely supporter based in the mid/late game. You aren’t going to reliably have two energy plus adaman in your hand after an Iono, and even then you’d rather those energies be available to attach or shuffled back into the deck for later, or just use one for greninja
You can arguably get away with adaman's in this deck with basculegion's attack that shuffles energy from discard back into the deck and dialga v's temporal rupture attack. @@all-in4it
Great idea to use Basculegion. I feel like the hisuian Basculin is a great alternative to TM Evo builds, while serving a very similar function by letting you get properly setup in the early game
Two supporter ideas.
1. Cryptomaniac. It works with Greninja and Metang.
2. Digging Duo. “Oh no, I put my Dialga VSTAR on the bottom of the deck via Metang! How will I ever recover it?!?”

270 star chronos can KO stage 1 ex and get you an extra turn
Dialga vstar + metal maker metang would make the deck structure similar to Single Strike urshifu vmax + houndoom

This looks like equal parts fun as hell to play, and very daunting to see across the board from you. Being able to take another turn, or even just the threat of it, really changes the pace of a game.
yeah. Ive made a dialga deck with bibarel, metang and jirachi which easily favors me against pro players that are using for example iron hands with iron crown. These players always lose when i pul out my dialga
Not a fan of this tbh. Why no Arven, to get get buddy poffin, especially if u go second? Or Evolution? Why so many Prof Research, when u want the energy in ur deck to search with Metang, rather then having them in ur hand? Looking to run a dialga deck, so just curious
how exactly is this better than the current magnezone DVS set? yes that's a stage 2, but it has a useable attack, and looks at the top 6 cards, so if one is lucky enough, with 2 magnezone, they can power up a DVS and go for vstar attack on the 2nd turn...
magnezone has 2 other positives in its favour, a nest balled miraidon can get 2 magnemites out turn 1, and the magnezone has enough HP to survive a late game sableye, metang can't.
this will be as successful (or rather, UNsuccessful) as magnezone dialga has been,
Came here to say this. Magnezone's Giga Magnet I feel is just as good if not better, albeit a stage 2 which could be slightly more awkward.
A couple of reasons based on my experience with gigamagnet:
1. Metang allows you to put non-metal on the bottom of you deck. Huge advantage if you don't have to shuffle. If you have 2 metang in play, you are cycling thru 8 cards in your deck per turn. If you don't get judged or Roxanned the following turn, you see 16 cards.
2. Stage 1 metang means no rare candy and more deck space vs the magnezone build.
3. Consistency. It is easier to get into the stage 1 metang, especially if you are running a 4/4 line.
4 research just seems risky...
Turn 1 going 2nd, both vstar in hand and a professor... now what?
Supporter i would consider arven/ adaman
Adaman needs 2 metal energy in hand to use, get any card that can bail me out from the situation
Arven is 1 tool 1 item, suitable to take counter catcher + vitality band when my opponent had took 1 prize
just discard it? you have a rod it's fine
You could do the Arven Evo package

These players always lose when i pul out my dialga. Would also switch out reasearch with lono and add a few more boss orders for complete annhilation against the opposing team. Basculegion is not needed.
