Something to add for the exotics. When new exotic armor is added you can’t focus it at all through Rahool until the next season. But, once you do get them you can still decrypt the engrams for a chance at a better role.

I’m a returning player. The last thing I did was two years ago on Europa. Stasis. Clovis Bray, Deepstone Crypt. All that stuff. I’m currently chewing through all of the past seasonal stuff. I got the super black shader, and all the base curated weapons from Shaxx. I got almost all the exotics and ritual weapons of the past two years from the thing at the tower. Working on some exotic quests for lightfall and witch queen. I know I’m missing a lot. But I just started again 3 days ago. I’m going to be lacking when the final shape comes out, but hopefully, even though I don’t have certain things, I’ll still be able to raid and all that. Even with all the fomo, it’s good to be back.
If you can find someone or group to grind out raids. Most players are disrespectful to people that are not that good at raids. Even if they have done a few times an understand it. And I don't like elitis
I think should be said that the Phantasmal Fragment conversion should only be the last minute last resort. If you have 20k legendary shards, you can convert that to 2k phantasmal fragments, which is a total bank of only 2 million glimmer (4 x max glimmer which is not very much TBH). This should only be done in the last week before Final Shape launched IMO.

I haven’t prepped those in a *very* long time, but I seem to remember some exotic quests dropping pinnacle and some being powerful (I think). I have no idea which is which or if that is accurate or has changed, to be honest. I don’t think powerful drops will matter all that much with the legendary campaign armor drops. Pinnacle could be good though!

Jessica things are gonna cost glimmer doesn't automatically mean it's going to be a problem or glimmer could drastically increase and it could become drastically easier to collect glimmer( not that it ain't easy anyway)
Bungie is gonna nurf the phantasmal fragment glimmer trade into the ground come Final Shape. They are trying to balance the games economy and there is no way they will have folks out here with millions in the bank before the rebalance launch.

The fact you can reclaim from old seasons is cool but also a pretty pointless tip, most people don't have literal millions of glimmer etc banked and actually claim their season pass rewards when they rank up lol, the chance of having anything unclaimed from previous seasons are pretty slim and unless you ranked up in a season you can't retroactively claim anything, but still pretty cool that it's an option ig
Just because a tip doesn't apply to you doesn't make it pointless. A lot of people who do day 1 raids store resources in their season passes. Similar to bounty prep, it's just something to do if you're trying to min-max

@@Shroudey All of these tips are for a very small % of people. A large majority of the playerbase will do nothing to prep for TFS and there will be very little downside to not prepping. Any prep you do is for min-maxing
Currency has been broken and weirdmin this game since I started playing 5 years ago. Something had to go. Not saying this is the play but what was in place was really dumb

As someone who's played destiny since beta. You're right. The only thing to do is use the currency before it's gone. I have a friend who's a prepper and I have no problem staying near. Also, with light level locks, it's just sweats trying to feel better like their destiny masters. Also they forget it's gonna bring your light level to your friends next dlc for fireteam challenges

about the only way I've heard is going to gunsmith and paying shards for a legendary weapon wtih level 5 or higher master work, dismantle for a core.

Bonds won't be focusable because once you get a specific 1 there's no reason to focus it.They all have the same stats so no need to focus.
The exotic perks are randomized. I’d argue there is more reason to farm the exotic class items than literally any other single exotic armor piece

Didn't send my exotic engrams to my postmaster. Literally, it opened them already in my inventory as an item when i did this method on the website.
