oh wow, i knew most of this stuff, goldlewis is my favourite fighting game character of all time, but i had no idea 624 was plus up close. kinda just wrote it off as being a bad 684 without the deadzone. super informative video, great work! also edit: the early hit 842 against faust is the bane of my existence
If you want the last frame meaty combos consistently pay attention to the speed lines, if its not last frame they almost completely cover the end of the coffin

I got to floor 10 with him using Keyboard last month but just can not get further, the input just way to extreme!! There goes my dream idea of getting him to celes using keyboard =)))
Goldlewis inputs are unlike any other fighting game character and they're hard to get used to, but with time and practice you'll get better at performing those weird BTs :3 Tho if you're on keyboard, there could be the possibility that your keyboard doesn't recognize more than 3 keys pressed at the time (the keys not registering is known as keyboard ghosting and the amount you can press at a time on your keyboard is key rollover) which could be screwing with your inputs Idk, there are key rollover tests online
@@Coil_ Nah my keyboard is fine, the problem is, I have been playing with the arrow keys and numpad keys for too long, and just saying doing those BTs like 862 and 842 is NOT fun. I somehow climbed to fl10 with absolute no high low mix up, just pure counter and wiff punish, and somehow it works =)))
They're super weird to get used to, but 684H is just too crucial to GL's gameplan At the very least you can buffer the input while using other buttons, don't have to do 684H raw most of the time
