I had to learn this with my fiancé when we first got together, if all you do is compare yourself to your previous relationships you'll never truly be happy. I was like you, didn't want to commit because of past relationships and how I told myself that everything in my head could go wrong and 9/10 I was right. My fiancé showed me the importance of letting go and allowing myself to feel love. Is it a risk? Absolutely but you take risks everyday and whether it turns out well or not, it's still a learning experience non the less but from what I have seen, Jalon really feels something for you and it would be a shame if you allowed your thoughts to make the judgement call. Our worst enemies are ourselves and we have to allow someone to come in when we can tell that their intentions are pure. One of the greatest risks I ever took was being with my fiancé and I don't regret it to this day and we've been together for 6 years going on 7 so take that risk
