Brent & Yorkie As a Sens fan I'm really shaking my head on the Travis Green hire. I'm willing to see if he's the man for this job? But, he doesn't have a very good winning record as a NHL coach. I really thought Andlauer wanted a french speaking coach with a winning record? And, thought Claude Julien should've been on the top of the list for Ott./Gat. with a record of 1274 game 667 wins 445 loses and one Stanley cup. Wwwaaaaazzzzzzzuuuppp with that? Good luck Travis I hope you can turn this team into a winner SENS fans really need. Rick Go Sens Go !

Was really great to hear Leever. Miss his takes, honestly. Excellent not "in the know" opinions. Yorkie brings an inside view, and Wallace is just so polished at directing traffic. I have no clue if there is a possibility of more, but I enjoyed the chemistry.
I enjoyed seeing Leever on the show again! Maybe he should be one of the new co-hosts of the show!

Is Green an improvement over an Jacques Martin and D. J. Smith? Yes. Was he the best option available? No. Will it matter if they can't sort out the goaltending? No.
Goaltending.. is the cherry on top of a team, not a building block. They need to fix 4-5 Fs and at least 3Ds before we worry about the G.

Its a wait and see approach. I know for certain Jacques had a big role in choosing as he said when he became interim coach, he wanted this team as a pressure team. Travis Green is a very aggressive forechecking coach, and is a player's coach. If goaltending isn't improved at the end of the day, it really doesn't matter who is the coach.
I hope Bobby is doing good. Won't lie I miss him on the show.
I feel like the coach is less important than the player makeup on the team. A better right hand side D to complement the top 2 guys on the left hand side (not even sure it matters if they keep Chych or Chabot, just need to use that cap money on a good RHD), another experienced top 6 winger and maybe someone to take Forzy's spot.

If you guys ever look to add a third to the pod then you could do a lot worse than LeeVer. It was a little frantic but I assume things would settle down into manageable chaos over time. Lol.

Supposedly, he had Quinn Hughes doing the dump and chase type of hockey when he was there. Not utilizing him to his full potential. Why does this sound so familiar? Dj smith was doing this with our group, we dont need more of the same type of coaching

Sens fans need to take a deep breath, and stop condemning management & coaching before they have any chance to do anything. This is the start of them building "their" team, separate from the Melnyk/PD/DJ team that they inherited too late to change. So take a breath and give them a chance. Shut up and wait until the year is half done and then can start to whine.
The fact is winning coaches do not want to come to a losing team and that's why we could not get a winning coach, not because management is stupid.
Plus having the best coach ever would not help this team be successful. We have proven that the current team make-up is incapable of winning. The coach can't fix that, or Martin would have had more success. So until we fix the roster, this team has no hope, unless maybe they grow-up quickly.
So let's see what trade management can do. But again, it won't prove incompetence when they can't trade magic beans for magic players.
Of course we could get a winning coach. I’d take guys that have proven themselves in the AHL (like Todd Nelson & Karl Taylor amongst others) and want a chance to give it a try at next level.

Im tired of hearing about how bad the goalies are, no goalie would have done well with this team in front of us. Lets stop blaming the goalies and fix the team in front of them. THEN we can call out the goalies.
Korpisalo and Forsberg regularly let in goals from the blueline on muffin shots, we had 20 games this season where the opponents scored on the first 5 shots, it didn't matter how good the shots were.
Not a fan of this guest lol. Dude was butchering the sens on a leafs podcast weeks after being let go from Tsn. Laughing like an mad scientist and being as opinionated as ever. One day we’ll lose AJ Jakubec too and all will be well.
York is so cringe. We know your brother is a part owner but you don’t have to agree with every decision this team makes lol.
He’s been quite critical about team defence, goaltending, team makeup and team personnel in the past.
