I kept finding myself coming back to this routine despite my...opinions on the musical and choreographic composition.
Scores -
QF: 6.3 / 7.266 / -0.3 ND / 13.266
TF: 6.5 / 7.808 / -0.4 ND / 13.908
honestly was crushed when watching her QF routine. she had the possiblity to score in the 14.900-15.200 area with her D score and would of overscored bronze medalist amy tinkler and challenged ally raisman who got silver in floor. still was my favourite of japans floor routines

I think she needs to water down the routine. She'll score higher if she isn't nearly falling on every pass
Ersatz Productions I think it isn't consistency necessarily, it's just that she can't complete the skills well enough on their own.

She also loses her balance in the second pass to.
The second one steps out of bounds but, then the first one goes out of bounds and flies forward then rushes to stay with the music.
why's the D score 0.2 lower in QF? her straddle 3/2 was devalued to a popa but what else am i missing?
Since she incurred a fall on the double front she also loses the 0.2 connection bonus.
right! completely forgot about that rule. her 3/2 was in fact never credited
