I actually believe the elastic on the back is meant to tuck the shoulder straps into so you can carry the bag briefcase mode using the handle on the side of the bag.
I do like this pack! Kinda wish it expanded a little bigger to say 45L or 50L cause you gotta be pretty ultralight to make this pack work for multiday trips. I toiletry pouch i like but electronics pouch i would not be carrying on the outside of this pack even with waterproof zippers you risk your electronics getting wet! I agree with the grab handles should be more beefy although you could braid paracord over the grab handle. I've seen people do that with thin grab handles like this and it works great and gives you emergency paracord if needed. Load lifters was a nice touch too! Alot of nice features on this pack! One other complaint is price! Wow! With two attachments your looking at $350! Thats pretty pricey imo! I get its feature rich and pretty well designed but for that kinda money you could buy alot of packs on the market that may fit your needs a little better. If it were just the $249 with one pouch included i wouldn't feel too bad about the purchase! Would love to see a 2.0 version with a little more expansion, maybe make it a roll top main bag and make the laptop sleeve also 3L hydration bladder compatible. Throw in a removable "padded" waistbelt and bam now were talkin! Still a very unique pack and for travel this makes a great carry on bag! Nice to see companies step out the box! Nice review man! Hike on!
Are you planning on making a review of the new North Face Borealis? Still have yet to find any videos on it! I am debating getting it or the new Surge you've made some great videos on, but I'm afraid the Borealis might not fit a 16" MacBook.

The luggage strap is for strapping the back straps to carry as luggage, the actual luggage passthrough is behind the backplate
ahh thanks!

What is the height of this bag? I’m 5.5 ft or 165cms. Many bags are too tall.
What is the weight of this bag with and without the wardrobe?
1.5kg from what I see online, which I assume is without?
Great review!!
