Former competitive gymnasts have better form. Her legs weren't together on the walking handstands, her burpees DIDN'T include tuck or pike jumps mixed in and I didn't see one-arm pushups! I also don't see overall muscularity. Female power gymnasts will develop upper-body muscularity and definition very quickly after beginning resistance training. I posted this because many Crossfitters care more about finishing first than executing each exercise with objectively good safe form. Competitive gymnasts are trained to be hyper-aware of excellent form. They're also trained to be poised, stoic, competitive and humble. But if you're incorporating CrossFit into Navy Seal training, take out the Olympic lifting for time. Substitute precious form in it's place. All for longevity and safety purposes.

But throwing a push up into a burpee, and then not loading the big (and fatigue resistant) lower body muscles, is throwing away cardiovascular and lower body local muscular endurance benefits. Try it with a heart rate monitor for three minutes. Ditch the push up, and bend at the knees on the way down, with the squat thrust, and then drive with the quads on the way up. Your heart rate will be way, way higher than doing them US-style, the rate of perceived exertion will be high (they're hard), and your legs will be screaming.
