You guys are all tripping. Bobby Knuckles said it doesn’t matter who he fights next and he knows sooner or later he’ll fight Izzy. Robert doesn’t play games, he never once said he doesn’t want to fight Izzy, in fact in his interview with Ariel after his last win he said ideally after his be born arrives he’d be keen on fighting Izzy. He also said let Izzy fight whoever he wants next even Jan and maybe come February the time lines will March and then he can fight Izzy. Bottom line is Whittaker does want to fight Izzy, but the holidays/family is priority until after the new born comes in January. He fought twice in the last 3 months he deserves two months off.
Technically Robert doesn't want to fight Adesanya.. yet. And Adesanya wants to stay active. Robert basically doesn't want to fight Adesanya in Adesanya's next fight, so Dana could be right in saying that.
Izzy has been saying for years he'll fight Jon Jones in July, 2021 at Raider Stadium during International Fight Week. His plan is to beat Jan in March, become LHW champ n that sets up Izzy vs Jon perfectly as the biggest fight of all time. This man is a mastermind lol.

What to Make of “Thug Nasty”
Andre Fili is fun. He seems like a really good guy, has cool tattoos, wears gauges, rocks a 5-Star nickname and has sleepovers with Gary Tonon.
He’s also a bastion of Club Ellenberger - territory reserved for fighters who have seemingly faced everyone on the roster. He’s fought a former champion (Max Holloway), contenders (Yair Rodriguez and Calvin Kattar), former contenders (Michael Johnson, Dennis Bermudez and Myles Jury) and Artem Lobov (Artem Lobov).
We all have those fringe contenders that just do it for us. Andre Fili does it for me.
On Saturday, I was rooting for Bryce Mitchell.
Bryce Mitchell could easily make that list of fan-friendly fringe contenders. I want more from Thug Nasty.
The top 15 of the Featherweight division is beset with strikers. Brian Ortega is deadly on the ground, but even he rarely secures takedowns. Much of his fights are spent standing, then he finishes you on the mat. Ryan Hall is world-class, but he spends a lot of time in kicking range, and he couldn’t get a fight if he gave up his purse.
Bryce Mitchell is the closest thing 145 has to Demian Maia - a fighter who works to spend every second of the fight on the mat. Like Maia, Mitchell’s contender status largely depends on his wrestling. If he can take you down, he wins. If he can’t, he loses.
Saturday night was a dry run. Andre Fili came to fight. He ripped underhooks and sprawled with urgency. He never accepted the bottom position - shrimping and reversing until the final bell.
None of it mattered. Bryce consistently put Fili on his back. He started by changing angles on a single leg, and he continued with beautiful trips against the fence. He did little visible damage, but like Vince Lombardi said, “fatigue makes cowards of us all.” Thug Nasty was cooking him to the bone.
I’m not getting carried away. Alexander Volkanovski is built like a fire hydrant; Bryce Mitchell has work to do before he’s ragdolling the champ. Even though I believe Israel wins the rematch vs Whittaker, Israel kept saying he wont chase 2 belts/super fights and will be a true champion and clean the division.
