Its not often your see a filthy dirty supercar that truly needs detailing, however today is the day! I am blessed to look after this stunning 991.1 Lava Orange Porsche GT3RS. Following a Euro road trip and track day at Spa, this German monster has come in for a well needed Wash & Wax. The idea with this detail is to restore the car back to a clean state and protect it for future trips.

Wash mitt! Another proper belter of a car, and a belter of a video too Joe - great to see a car like that get used for what it was designed! Did the interior not need a blast over too? (Sweaty wheel/skid marks on the seats) 😅
One thing I’ve always wondered, whether you need to rewash after using iron remover/tar&glue to decon? Looks like you went in with wax straight after. Suppose your guides will answer that! Good luck with the site, will await eagerly!

Wash Mitt. Great video! Love that Porsche model. I also use Swissvax Wax! The best I’ve ever used. I use both Swissvax Glacier for my new White pickup truck and Concorso. Insane bright white, depth, and clarity. White is hard to make look like that and it does with those two.

Great detail. Is there anything that can be done on corrosion/oxidation on the rotors post wash/wheel clean? I seem to get a great amount on my 911 and after a driving session my black wheels turn rust color.

How sure there is. I believe the product you need is Bilt Hamber Atom Mac. This should stop the rotors rusting. I know the feeling!

First time viewer here , really liked the format of the video , just a thought though about the colour grading, isn't it a bit too muted , like the lava orange has no pop at all. Could be a preference thing, no matter what i will keep watching obviously.

This was my first thought, as soon as the video opened. It's too desaturated, in my opinion, even the dirt didn't seem that bad haha
What more could you want than to clean a GT3RS once Joe has work is magic on it it will look a lot better i have learned a lot by watching you keep up the work respect.

Yes it was a multi purpose cleaner as these are PCCB (carbon ceramics).

Curious about why wax is considered relevant in 2024. #washmitt
They thank you for the question. There is a look and depth to the Lava Orange that wax adds and it looks great. In addition I would not ceramic coat a car that has not been corrected. Where as, as long as the paint is clean and decontaminated I can lay some wax down as protection. As with a car like this that doesn't get driven daily this layer of wax will last plus six months.
