Was at a toy show last week and got a dozen older Tuskens for $20. Added them to my two Banthas, and I have myself a tribe. No vintage ones in the lot, but a nice mix overall. Now all I need to get is one of those tents.
@@OnlyOneKenobi Male, female and children.. A grand variety from 1995 - today. Only a few came with sticks, but that doesn't hurt the display. I put Mando and Grogu on 1 bantha and the standard Tusken rider on the other.
Mine had there hands essentially glued in place as when it turned the hands the plastic peg broke off. I was twisting the neck of the peg not the peg itself. Now they’re permanently glued in place.
This is a great figure, I’m really glad they updated the soft goods. The original was definitely too light in color and the cheese cloth like material was meh... 😂
Tusken Raiders ( Sand people) have alway been one of my favorite characters (figures) since I saw the movie in 77, have many of the early Kenner versions and several of each release since then - very happy they finally fixed the elbows on this one ☝️
Hi O.O.K! I really like this version the Tusken raiders, I have several to create a tribe and recreate the Mandalorian scene with them signing with their language with Mando
I wanna open another... butbid hate to learn they were gonna 4pack him further down the line! 😏 they really should forecast that for us so we know! Haha
@@OnlyOneKenobi at least they are still very affordable. Your gonna get the 4pack anyways.. your gonna need a bunch of these still 😜🤣🤣I know I’m terrible. I can’t even buy anything new until lent ends 🤣🤣🙏🏽
I don’t usually buy multiples. In fact I skipped on it when I saw it in stores on clearance cause I was trying not to buy things I didn’t need. Then I found out it was given a new head and more articulation. So I bought one. Then I liked it so much that I bought 2 more. I now have 4 Tusken raiders. The 3 and the 3.75 black series one. I particularly like them because Anakin is my favorite character.
I just got gifted this from ED FIVE yesterday..haven't cracked it open yet..it's a great looking figure and will go well in the Mandalorian display..here is hoping they make some of the ones from Book of Boba...cheers Nick🍺🍺🍻
This looks so rad! Soft goods on action figures are a mixed bag for me. Some work, while others don't. I have an Original Trilogy Collection Obi Wan and due to his robes he can't fit in my POTF landspeeder with it on.
Just bind him back up in the package (for a week), I’m sure his robe will stick back to factory new. Thanks for your sacrifice 😁ps. I agree. I’d have loved to seen a Book of tusken raiders. “Fetts tribe”.
I actually opened one of the three I got of VC199 - I think it looks really nice on card and FINALLY got ball-jointed elbows. Yet, I had to be really careful with the wrists and a cannot even move the head. I’ll try hot air to losen the joints a bit. Thanks for the review, O.O.K.
Hello there OOK, you have a very nice collection of Tusken Raiders and the new figure looks great. Unfortunately I can't find this LFL 50th wave at any Walmart stores in my area. I bet I've been to a dozen stores and none of them have it. I really need that Death Star Droid too. I don't understand what happens to all these "exclusive" figures when they never hit stores. There must be just cases and cases of them in a warehouse somewhere.
I seriously hope Hasbro gives us a Tusken Raider 4 pack - one, perhaps, being a tribal leader! I mean, now that they have this figure, better articulated, if they don't do a figure pack? What are you doing, Hasbro?
Was surprised you didn't get into this new figure until now considering you have quite a range of Tuscan Raiders. I bought afew of these. Be careful with the hand joints on these apparently they snap easily as afew people have said in community. I think they look great though. Might grab afew more, looking forward to the black robe version from TBOBF. The female warrior & chief are 2 I really want.
Hahaha, that's probably why! 🤣 I've already got do many and felt no massive need! Hehe. Glad he's loose now though! Better than I expected. ALSO.... probably coz I didn't realise it was as good as it is, is why I never bothered opening it 🙂😉👍🏼
Big fan of this figure OOK! I hear you on how they could have done the Tuskens differently in BOBF. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess. Kind of remind me of Native American tribes and how they were treated.
Yes, never assume the gender Nick. I have a Tusken in my collection that identifies as non-binary. Either that or it was telling me that it prefers coffee with cream and no sugar, not sure, my Tusken sign language skills aren’t what they used to be. 😬
Hello Only One. How are you? I remember thinking before the series was over that the Tuscan raiders would be the Army to save the day. I had mentioned it at the time on your channel back then. Disney definitely could of had a few better ideas on that show than what we were shown by Disney. Bad ideas; "Vespa scooters", "London knife gang", jumping leaping climbing King Kong Rancor, Boba Fett taking his helmet off too much, Boba Fett being kind warm and soft too often, mass murder of the very likable Tuscan raider sand people, Krate Dragon worm from the movie Tremors. Lol other than those errors it was a very good series lol
@@JaigEyesStudios Oh. It must have been a different breed or species than what was in one of the S.W. Dark Forces video games in the 1990s. You fought a few in a battle arena. I think it was on Jabba's spaceship. You had to kill a few of them. They were significantly smaller than in the book of Boba Fett but bigger than a person, ran on four legs, were very fast, stayed on the surface, were lethal, and durable.
Great OOK, do you have the black series 3.75 Tuskan? I'm pretty sure it's the same sculpt, with maybe a different paint colour? Also, I think the 30th anniversary Bantha is slightly better than the potf2 one, but that's just my opinion!
Two issues with this one: 1) the joints on the hands, elbows, head, etc were very stiff as you point out and prone to snapping/breaking (so WTF is up with that Hasbro! 🤬), and 2) the weapons are the complete opposite and once again are made out flimsy, soft plastic and are like wet noodles…worthless bent guns and gaffe sticks….🤦🏻♂️. Other than that it’s still a great rerelease. Oh…and 3) Walmart exclusive again that took me like 10 tries to get one decent card back….🤷🏻♂️. Thanks OOK for another quick shot!
They did it him so great
Awesome figure!
The beasts are fantastic! Glad they did justice to the sand people!
Great videos as always!
Classic card man. Tatooine self is growing dude💥💥💥💥💥
This is a great figure 👌 just bang on nails it
The weapons look great! I’m going to try to hunt on down to give the rifle to Migs Morak disguise, and stick to Boba.
I'm tempted to open a second I'm so impressed with him 👍🏼👍🏼
Its on the list, tbh I hope this one returns, and in greater numbers

45th anniversary of SW this May 25th. When I started collecting the vintage style VOTC/Saga I thought that would be it !

With you 100% there, they should have been more Tusken content in the BoBF - fingers crossed for Obi series

Classic card back and great figure. The definitive Tuskan Raider I would think.
I love the Tuskens. I hope that if / when they do a 4 pack that they include the ones from BOBF.

Mum-ra - lol on the Thundercats reference

That was only the Krayt Dragon's head and neck, the rest of his body are buried under the sand. More like a Loch Ness Monster/Sandfish.
