  • Dave Molyneux, the most successful Isle of Man TT sidecar competitor in history with 17 wins, announced his retirement from racing this week, almost 40 years since his TT debut back in 1985. Not just a superb sidecar driver, Dave is a fantastic engineer who innovated a sport that relies a lot on making many bespoke components in order to be at the sharp end of the grid.
It was in 1989 that Dave and passenger Colin Hardman achieved their first victory over the 37.73-mile TT mountain course and in 1993, alongside Karl Ellison, he scored his first double victory at the event. In this clip, we take a look back at Dave's second sidecar win of 1993 and we'd like to wish him a happy and healthy retirement.

Love it, definitely old school, when neither man takes credit for the win, 'its a team's, classic!!!
