+Pocketnow When you mention fast charging : LG G5 , 55 % you mentioned in 30 minutes has to be using 2.0 charger not 3.0 which LG G5 utilizes and charges more than 80 % in 30 minutes. USER BE INFORMED ABOUT THIS.
+Pocketnow great video! but can you change place to shoot the video. sick of that boring table and that gray curtain! Jaime's video is a lot more interesting ...
+TheGoodguyperson A9 wasn't a mistake, it was just a mid-range phone. If you look on www.phonearena.com/htc/new-phones , you can see that they release tons of iterations of all kinds of devices. This is every year. The A9 is a great little phone for people that want HTC quality build but a less expensive feature set. Still has an AMOLED screen, better camera than the M9, fingerprint scanner, etc. Basically M9 was the misstep, because it was the flagship phone. A9 did exactly what it was supposed to do, and actually had positive sales and got HTC a little back on track ahead of Vive and the 10.
HTC still didn't produce a phone that worth replacing the good old 2013's LG G2 IMO. Even the HTC 10..it's OK but still not worth the upgrade.. at least the G5 has the wide angle camera. I just installed CM13 on the G2 and I can't really justify the HTC10.. faster CPU? meh ..(unless you're a phone heavy gamer).
The G5 tried to copy HTC just like the iPhone did. LG featured a metal body, dual camera sensors, and then added a powerful DAC and amp for hi-res audio yet on the LG you'll have to buy the after market attachment to get hi-res audio, Amp and DAC, while with HTC the AMP/DAC are already built in and don't cost extra money.
I'm really torn on which one to get as both have their pros and cons. I prefer the design of the G5 although I'm kind of concerned about the build quality after seeing/hearing so much how bad it is. I also really like the fact I can swap batteries with the G5 as well as being almost €100 cheaper than the 10. The 10 on the other hand has better software and significantly better audio from the headphone jack which I deem rather important. I also really dig the fact you keep your warranty even after rooting the phone as that's something I'll surely do. The durability also seems better as of now. Any help would be appreciated.
+Tim Kuipers If you manage to get past the camera difference (where LG seems to perform slightly better), HTC is better in every way. I don't know about you, but I think the HTC 10 is one of the best designed phones (personally I think it's the best), so you shouldn't concern about design or build quality. You can also get HTC 10 for $599 using coupon HTC1008 or HTC1009 in the US.
I was proud to be within your last 5 subs before 30k a few months ago (on your own channel)...but then I left. Seeing your fantastic videos here, I don't see why I did. I'm still waiting for that HTC 10 camera review :)
+Dwilsonmusic145 When you mention fast charging : LG G5 , 55 % you mentioned in 30 minutes has to be using 2.0 charger not 3.0 which LG G5 utilizes and charges more than 80 % in 30 minutes. USER BE INFORMED ABOUT THIS.
Nice review! Still using my HTC One M8 with Nova Launcher. I like HTC's implementation of the home button. It has no mechanical switch so it won't wear out, but being in the bezel, doesn't take up space on the screen. That being said, I'm going to miss the stereo speakers. Granted, I didn't use them often, but having front-facing speakers and have stereo channels did make a very pleasant difference when compared to my tablet with only one speaker. Very quick question, and I apologize if it's slightly out of left field: what is that stylus you guys are using in the video? I'm very intrigued by its thin tip.
Awesome comparison, Juan. I picked up a G5 and I really don't understand all the hate that phone is getting. I don't have any of the build quality issues on my unit and it's a solid performer. Idle battery drain is minimal and I actually like the way it feels in my hand. I find the wide angle lens to be more useful than a lot of camera features, too. I originally pre-ordered an HTC 10, but canceled it. looks like a great phone overall and I'm really glad to see HTC addressing most of our concerns, but I feel like the G5 just offers more for me. I don't really care about the "friends", but a replaceable battery is always good.
+Will Frame Right on man. Glad you're digging it. I think part of the concern with LG stems from how poorly they handled the bootlooping issue on the G4 and now G5's are built with "varying" quality. Not to say individual phones might not be terrific, but in general, I understand why there might be some apprehension.
+TheDownloader86 THat's the point I'm making. A lot of people seem to feel software controls are inferior because you lose a strip of your display. I'm trying to show more often that it rarely matters for situations where you might want the full screen as those options hide themselves.
+JuanBagnell as always :) your videos are joy to watch. You cover all important aspects and put up an interesting video to watch. Waiting for a comparison between htc 10 and sammy's 7
Agreed. The decision will come down to which phone best executes your favourite features. HTC 10 for me adaptive storage, app standardisation, build quality, SD Card.
+Stoyan Nikolov I don't think you can really compare them over a video though. Personally I'd have to lay them both side-by-side in front of me to pass judgement. Especially if the bottom HTC speaker is a subwoofer, can't judge that over youtube at all.
***** the video is for reference only, but if you can't tell which one is better then HTC's hype for the "Boomsound" is irrelevant. LG doesn't put fancy names, they just get them job properly done.
Stoyan Nikolov The LG was louder, but the HTC had more depth. Again, you can't really tell unless you are there in the flesh. Recording sound with a camera never ends well.
Great review! However at the end you didn't want to say which phone is the best because they are different which is fine. But you should say why someone would want to buy phone A over B and what needs a certain phone meets so that people can make better informed decisions on which phone is best for them.
+Tom Potts Yeah. I just got used to it on Samsungs, and I hit back with my right thumb more often than I need to use multi-tasking, so I keep coming back to that when I can.
I can't decide whether to get the htc 10 or the S7 edge. I love the S7 camera, waterproofing, and waterproofing, but I love the htc 10 software. I get it if you're a fanboy but please read this comment and choose what would be best for me instead what you want to be best for me.
getting excited for the 10.... Maybe I'm one of the few, but I really like my LG G3. It's been great for me and one as excited for the G5. Man, what a letdown...... Then I read about the 10 and now I have something to look forward to. If HTC tweets the camera and the audio is as good as the tests show, the 10 will be my next phone. I think it looks amazing and high end. I remember how much I loved both of my EVO's before I left Sprint.
Good review. I'm sticking with the LG just now. It's just that little bit more interesting. 3 of the modular 'Friends' are starting to appear on UK websites. To be fair, it is a case of pre order, but that option wasn't there a week ago.
+JuanBagnell yes, irritating. I've already been sent B & O headphones as part of a bundle; official 'Friends' and LG branding. Great headphones as stand-alone. It'll be good to try them with the DAC, £149 approx here.
+SavageArfad has to be noted that the Lenovo Vibe X3 supports Dolby Atmos with dedicated Amp and DAC built in. I also notice that the Lenovo Is way louder than the HTC on speakers, but I would like a fair "in depth" comparison
It's sad that almost every flagship out now has copied HTC ! Dual camera sensors, live photos, all metal body, antenna bands, 5MP front camera, hi-res audio with powerful amp and dac, front facing speakers, etc... I mean the iPhone, lg, and Samsung have all copied HTC... HTC has led the smartphone organization to what it is today ever since they developed the first Android phone (even before the iPhone).
+Son Goli It matters because people have criticized HTC for their ideas and features, yet almost every phone on the market has copied copied what HTC is doing...
What a good morning to wake up to a wonderful video :D Niiiiiiiice! Great comparison! though I'm looking forward to your camera battle walking stabilization test :P I've seen the HTC 10 video stabilization and it's far superior than LG's normal camera, you don't get that pulling effect on the edges. Didn't know you were a fan of Batteries not included! one of my fav movies growing up as a kid, also Explorers, flight of the Navigator, Short Circuit, Cocoon, and who can forget Back to the Future ;) lol. Since they both have usb-c 3.1, have you tried any tests hooking them up together? one powers the other? data transfer? usb-c hdmi out? I'm curious! :D Great vids as usual!
+Kyle Ruggles Add _Cloak & Dagger_ and _D.A.R.Y.L._ to that movie list and I'm RIGHT there with you ;-) Haven't tried much with USB C yet. Gonna start with some basics, like file transfers and see where I go from there.
JuanBagnell Oh I haven't seen those! I'll add them to my Queue :D Oh and also War Games, Howard the Duck lol, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Ferris Bueler ^_^ Awesome! please let me know how it goes, there's little talk and/or experimentation with/about usb-c 3.1.
Well, on the quality front, you may not wish to neglect HTC over Samsung. Samsung overall uses a cheap body, the more exaggerated Amoled screen, those weird italicized fonts and the back design with a square shaped camera. Maybe sales wise the Samsung is at the top but when it comes to quality, and if you really have known the history of smartphones, you may wish to consider iPhone and HTC as the top brands globally
shrikant kallur This is what people don't appreciate nowdays. They fall for all the marketing hype that companies like Samsung and Apple create. I mean on every corner of the street their is an ad for a Galaxy or iPhone so what people think is that those products are the best cause they are everywhere. I for one haven't regret the decision to buy the 10 even after a year while when I had Galaxy phones at about 4 to 6 months I was thinking to upgrade.

I used HTC Desire HD for 2 years and then temporarily I used Sony Xperia L before decided to buy LG G2 in 2013 and yes I'm still using LG G2! HTC is great but from my personal experience, it's not durable like LG phone. For this year, I'm ready to upgrade. Looking at LG G5 and HTC 10 - It's quite a tough choice! But in terms of the battery removable in LG G5, and I can see myself using it more than 400-500 battery cycle (2 years plus), I think G5 is the phone for me. Yes, it is ugly... Oh my.. But a flashy casing would do it justice! BTW, thanks for the great video! I now subscribe to you!
I have my HTC desire HD for like 4 years now, still works perfectly, aside from the battery.... it's my back up phone though,as I have a HTC desire 510 which sucks...looking at getting a HTC 10 soon :D
+MrGanjababy Yes, after studying HTC 10 online.. I am now torn.. whether getting HTC 10 or LG G5. What I love about HTC 10 as compared LG G5 is better body built, in built DAC, OIS in front camera, HTC Sense stock android (no duplicate) and that feature of SD Card will act like Internal Storage in HTC 10!
What do you mean when you say "more expensive headphones"? What price range are you talking. Trying to see whether they would make a difference in my mid priced headphones
I have to say, I'd completely written off the G5 this year after all the bad initial impressions I'd seen from other reviewers. Having said that, I'm typing this on my new G5. Once in hand at the store I found this to be an amazing phone. Mine isn't at all plagued by a single build quality issue either. Everything fits tight and flush and the it's the perfect size phone for me overall. I also got $300 in additional free accessories for buying it through T-Mobile so I feel really good about my purchase overall and it's been nothing but a positive owners experience so far.
Jose R Ugly software? The 5x is stock android? that's an advantage. Has a bigger screen than the m8. Newer CPU, than the M8 and a better camera. Bro, just get an iPhone
Simple question: RAW shooting... On the M9 the difference between auto and RAW means a camera everybody describes and actual proper pictures. Even the auto-jpg created when shooting RAW is far superior than the full auto option.
The HTC 10 is what I'll getting in September. Simply, I've gotten sick of Apple's shit with a completely bendable phone and now a malfunctioning cell tower signal. I'm choosing HTC over Samsung mainly because I've read HTC slows down less than the Samsung does. It's difficult to compete with Samsung's vivid AMOLED screens and their superb camera, but they don't offer adoptable storage and they don't make their phones as robust as HTC does with a glass backplate.
Richard Powell Definitely. I find it useful to consider how you use your phone every day and see what you use it for the most. If you're an amateur/semi-pro photographer, look no further than the Samsung. However, if you're an audiophile and like music, look more towards the HTC. Take the one thing you use your phone for the most and pick the best option. So far, it doesn't look like the LG G5 excels in anything. Because of it's removable battery design, it doesn't even have the dustproof/rainproof protection that the HTC has. Hope all of this has helped.
+CalculyticCuber I use my phone for music, social media, streaming movies an tv shows. I like to multi task. I need a phone that can keep up. Every phone I've had in the past starts out really well. But fails at the test of time. Lol I love the big beautiful screens the galaxy has.
I have a S7 edge for pleasure, a iPhone 6s for work, I'm looking for a third phone for while I travel but still want a high end phone. any recommendations?
+Wysent With A Wy Well, when I'm on a trip, just for pleasure and not for businesses I don't want to carry around that phone because I won't need to. Also I have a carrier locked S7 edge. It's lock to ATT and traveling to some countries can be a pain because not all Sim cards work. So I'd ideally like to get a third unlocked smart phone, but I don't want to sacrifice quality, especially since I travel for fun two to three months out of the year for fun. Does it all make sense now that I had to explain myself to you?
Yes it makes sense now. What type of phone specifically are you looking for travelling? Good camera? Good speakers? Or overall performance. I currently have a 6p and its dope better camera imho than the s6 which I had previously owned and the dual speaker setup is simply amazing, performance is also very solid.
+Wysent With A Wy I love a good screen and a good camera. Speakers don't matter because I have a really good pair of headphones. Something with very very good battery life. While I'm in somewhere like Indian and away from my hotel I need good battery life.
The Tech Man Your s7 edge already has incredible battery life, hmmmm the only phone i can think of that has better battery life is the s6 active, it has better battery life than the s7 edge, quite similar in performance and is incredibly rugged, I wanted one but unfortunately is it only available in the U.S
maybe HTC's vive might even the score...your comparison didn't touch on the two phones accessories which I think are an extension of the phones experience and should be accounted for
Well it's true that it's up to the individual to choose what they like, freedom of choice n_n Great vid as always Juan, and by the way, if you had the choice, which one of the two would you take? Just curious ^^
HTC received the best DXOMARK score of any phone to date, this is because it proves the most capable in most situations. Due to its larger pixels it's images can seem overly bright, but as I said, it's as simple as a tap on the image to focus and adjust the brightness.... Some phones do better as point and shoot cameras, but HTC is amazing if you are familiar with how to work HTC cameras..
As you mentioned, that the hifi attachment wont be with the g5 in the USA. It would have been awesome if you still would have gotten one and did another compare of the audio sounds. How good the attachment of the g5 holds up with the htc10. 1.2 Mil subs. Not everyone in the USA :P
I just went down to the local T-mobile to check out the G5 and it does not have a gap or sharp edges. In fact it feels very premium and looks beautiful.
+BalzyMcGEE That seems to be the issue. I don't think that LG has enough quality control going on. Some devices look flawless, while others seem to be - shall we say, rough around the edges?
Very good video review I personally love htc for build quality and software experience. Believe it or not this is the first great camera since the half decent one they had on the One X. Paying alot of attention to the camera review different sites, it appears that most of the issues, focusing especially are related to software issues which will be fixed hopefully soon. As for paying $999 for flagship after htc have shitted on themselves the past couple years is a real bitch move. They need to re-establish themselves as atleast on par or better than S7 and 6S and pricing this device the way they've done may make that an impossibility..
Just the fact that LG G5 doesn't have an app drawer, i would choose any other 2016 android flagships in the market. Honestly can't wait to get my hands on the HTC 10!
I wanted both of these respective offerings to be more compelling. I miss the glory days of HTC and it's amazing devices such as its Evo line up. As for LG, if only the G5 were more like the V10, I'd be more impressed. It's just difficult to see passing up a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge for either of these given the larger screen, better build, bigger battery and amoled display.
+Glenn Mark Cruz lol, Sony will probably pull a Sony again. First they pull a 4k screen only to realise that the resolution war have not reached that stage, Then they pull a HDR 1080p screen which seems too niche, as a Sony fanboy, I dun know anymore, I guess I will stay with my z3(the dual dac is amazing, wish they would bring it back)
I really hope htc and lg do good. The s7 however is king this year. Seriously, battery, camera, performance, screen, waterproofing, storage, ergonomics, the s7 has is all!
Juan great video and I really like your voice. Now Michael left Pocketnow a month ago. Go to his Twitter if want to know more. Now that question answered. So we can get to enjoying Juan's videos. Again great job Juan.

Hmmm, did the S7 die off??
+Big Mo to be honest I'm not a big fan of Samsung and their plasticy or glass phones.
Farid Amin glass is the future
same
+Big Mo glass is the iPhone 4
this is what HTC should be doing , not mistakes like the M9 or the A9 , i hope this phone is a success in the market
+TheGoodguyperson I'm so glad to see HTC executing this well again.
JuanBagnell indeed
Only complain is that the button is vertically centered
+TheGoodguyperson A9 wasn't a mistake, it was just a mid-range phone. If you look on www.phonearena.com/htc/new-phones , you can see that they release tons of iterations of all kinds of devices. at 7:50 make you wonder if HTC 10 has an ESS DAC in there like the V10. Sure looks similar but slightly be than the V10
better

I'm here in September 2024... Had both these phones back in the day. Miss both companies, without LG and HTC there would be no Android today...... 😢
fantastic comparison. from beginning to end. love the admission of the cell phone market pie and mention.

+David Baláž Glad you enjoyed it :-)

*****
Working on that today after the podcast :-)
Glad to hear that :)
HTC won my heart two years ago, and they won my heart this year, two years later. I'm looking forward to getting my new HTC 10 soon!
How does the DAC in HTC 10 compare the DAC in LG V10? Awesome review and spot on, btw. :)
Great comparison Video! Great job.
Great very informative video as usual Jaun!
Great comparison! Juan, what stylus are u using in that video?
Hey Juan, if possible can you try to juxtapose the fotos while comparing them. It is easier to note differences, if any.
Agreed. The decision will come down to which phone best executes your favourite features. HTC 10 for me adaptive storage, app standardisation, build quality, SD Card.
+Andrew Hoffman I love how lean the 10 runs. I'm not a huge fan of stock android, so the smaller tweaks we see in sense this year are appreciated.
Where can I can the pen from 03:39?
great review man..keep it up!
Does the HTC 10 record audio in mono or stereo? And does it pick up a good range of frequecies?
Which is better for earphone listening device Lg v20, v30, g6, Htc 10?? Plz reply
Thnx Juan alot!.. for this comparison ... eagerly waiting for s7 edge vs htc 10 ... it would be ultimate!
The new "Boomsound" speakers sound Tinsound compared to the G5.
+Stoyan Nikolov I agree. To me the G5 sounded much better.
+Stoyan Nikolov agreed!

Nice comparison. Can you compare HTC 10 vs Samsung S7 (not edge version as it's has bigger screen)?
the HTC 10 updated it's camera app and pictures are now on par with the s7
Great review! However at the end you didn't want to say which phone is the best because they are different which is fine. But you should say why someone would want to buy phone A over B and what needs a certain phone meets so that people can make better informed decisions on which phone is best for them.
+TheSouliG That's kind of what the whole video is... Did you want a TLDR at the end?
+JuanBagnell Yeah I guess you can put it that way. The feeling I got at the end of the video was "undecided". A summary would help I think.
Galaxy S7/edge vs htc 10 video coming soon?
what's that song you played during the speaker comparison?
Hey Juan, on the G5 why have you switched the back and multitasking buttons? Is that your preference like the s7?
+Tom Potts Yeah. I just got used to it on Samsungs, and I hit back with my right thumb more often than I need to use multi-tasking, so I keep coming back to that when I can.
+JuanBagnell That sounds logical, I am purchasing an S7 Edge and that makes the button layout seem more appealing (less of a trade off)
Tom Potts
It definitely messes up your muscle memory for a minute, but over time I genuinely prefer the back button on the right.
hey juan just out of couriosty where has michael fisher been has been on lately is he ok. did he leave or on vac
As always great comparison!
I can't decide whether to get the htc 10 or the S7 edge. I love the S7 camera, waterproofing, and waterproofing, but I love the htc 10 software.
I get it if you're a fanboy but please read this comment and choose what would be best for me instead what you want to be best for me.
+John Hunter
Go with the HTC 10... It is probably the best smartphone on the market right now...
I would also pick htc 10
Better design
Stock (ish) android
And I'm sure the camera will get better with updates :)
Will you do a hTC 10 camera review??
Yes, he will
+Gerard W. Stay tuned :-)
Great job man. I literally am waiting for your review to come out before i get the phone. (upgrading from the m8)
thx for paying attention and talking a bit about audio quality via headphones. I think i decided on my next phone :D

getting excited for the 10....
Incredible designs this year, although out of Samsung/LG/HTC I think HTC's is the cleanest. Reminds me of a mix of a Lumia and an Iphone.
You are one of my favorite reviewers. Keep up the great content.
Good review. I'm sticking with the LG just now. It's just that little bit more interesting. 3 of the modular 'Friends' are starting to appear on UK websites. To be fair, it is a case of pre order, but that option wasn't there a week ago.
+Craig Duncanson Yup. Should make this all more interesting, but still a mjor bummer we wont get the HiFi DAC here in North America...
+JuanBagnell yes, irritating. I've already been sent B & O headphones as part of a bundle; official 'Friends' and LG branding. Great headphones as stand-alone. It'll be good to try them with the DAC, £149 approx here.
Craig Duncanson
You'll have to let US know how they sound...
;-)
+JuanBagnell will do.
Juan whenever you get your hands on the modules of G5 please review them I need to know how much effective they are.
+aized ali Will do :-)
Is there any chance of comparing the Dolby Atmos enabled Lenovo Vibe X3 and the BoomSound HiFi edition HTC 10?
I am a super Audiophile.. would love to find a winner
+SavageArfad has to be noted that the Lenovo Vibe X3 supports Dolby Atmos with dedicated Amp and DAC built in. I also notice that the Lenovo Is way louder than the HTC on speakers, but I would like a fair "in depth" comparison
anyone know if the htc 10 has the aptx hd for 24 bit over bluetooth like the g5 does?
It's sad that almost every flagship out now has copied HTC ! Dual camera sensors, live photos, all metal body, antenna bands, 5MP front camera, hi-res audio with powerful amp and dac, front facing speakers, etc... I mean the iPhone, lg, and Samsung have all copied HTC... HTC has led the smartphone organization to what it is today ever since they developed the first Android phone (even before the iPhone).
So? What does that matter
+Son Goli It matters because people have criticized HTC for their ideas and features, yet almost every phone on the market has copied copied what HTC is doing...
Fred Brown now that you mentioned it
Great review bro!
Hi, can you make a comparison between HTC 10 and the LG v10.
whats the pen he is using called?
What Usb C cable did you use in this vid?
Great vids as usual!
+Kyle Ruggles Add _Cloak & Dagger_ and _D.A.R.Y.L._ to that movie list and I'm RIGHT there with you ;-)
Haven't tried much with USB C yet. Gonna start with some basics, like file transfers and see where I go from there.
JuanBagnell Oh I haven't seen those! I'll add them to my Queue :D Oh and also War Games, Howard the Duck lol, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Ferris Bueler ^_^
Awesome! please let me know how it goes, there's little talk and/or experimentation with/about usb-c 3.1.
Kyle Ruggles
Dude. Those two will be RIGHT up your alley. Seriously. Right up there with Last Starfighter.
JuanBagnell Woooo even the Last Starfighter, thanks man :D
Kyle Ruggles
enjoy :-)
Does anyone know the name of the stylus he's using???
I for one haven't regret the decision to buy the 10 even after a year while when I had Galaxy phones at about 4 to 6 months I was thinking to upgrade.

what's the name of the music in the end?
What I love about HTC 10 as compared LG G5 is better body built, in built DAC, OIS in front camera, HTC Sense stock android (no duplicate) and that feature of SD Card will act like Internal Storage in HTC 10!
what game is that @ 5:02?
honestly wasn't expecting this...thanks juan
+kris mahase You're very welcome. Surprises are always fun :-)
Hey there Juan B, not one review out on the RUclips's has described the Htc's "light bleed". Have you seen any?
+Jesus Melendez I honestly haven't. I'll play around to see if I can see something.
Thanks Juan. I'm realizing that Htc's worthy comeback may not top Samsung, but I really am liking the Htc 10.
Jesus Melendez
It's all about building momentum. This phone could put HTC on the right track.
I would like love to see the HTC 10 vs Note 5..only to see if HTC 10 would make a good 2016 upgrade f
What do you mean when you say "more expensive headphones"? What price range are you talking. Trying to see whether they would make a difference in my mid priced headphones
i want to know if htc 10 supports otg.
+adam martin Right on! Glad to hear you're digging it, and hopefully LG has been able to tighten up their QA since these first devices went out.
Im still using my M8, the 10 looks a promising upgrade. But I'm still waiting for a new Nexus to be shown off yet.
Same here (Y)
I am using HTC E8.
+Pommy192 If the 10 is any indication, I hope we're in for something bold on the next Nexus.
replying you from my one m8 m8
Jose R Ugly software? The 5x is stock android? that's an advantage. Has a bigger screen than the m8. Newer CPU, than the M8 and a better camera.
Bro, just get an iPhone
Simple question:
RAW shooting... On the M9 the difference between auto and RAW means a camera everybody describes and actual proper pictures. Even the auto-jpg created when shooting RAW is far superior than the full auto option.
What's the song in the speaker test 😩😵
I really want to stray from iPhone or Samsung. Anyone know if the htc is best
+CalculyticCuber thanks for the feedback. I gotta go to the store an check a couple of phones out
Richard Powell Definitely.
+Richard Powell HTC is best bro no competition
I have a S7 edge for pleasure, a iPhone 6s for work, I'm looking for a third phone for while I travel but still want a high end phone. any recommendations?
2 phones not enough??
The Tech Man Your s7 edge already has incredible battery life, hmmmm the only phone i can think of that has better battery life is the s6 active, it has better battery life than the s7 edge, quite similar in performance and is incredibly rugged, I wanted one but unfortunately is it only available in the U.S
maybe HTC's vive might even the score...your comparison didn't touch on the two phones accessories which I think are an extension of the phones experience and should be accounted for
Well it's true that it's up to the individual to choose what they like, freedom of choice n_n
Great vid as always Juan, and by the way, if you had the choice, which one of the two would you take?
Some devices look flawless, while others seem to be - shall we say, rough around the edges?
whats that sound you always play audio tests?
What's the game played in the phones?
Very good video review
I personally love htc for build quality and software experience.
Honestly can't wait to get my hands on the HTC 10!
it does have an app drawer you just change your settings to easy home
What capacitive pen is used in this video? It should be capacitive, but it seems precise as an s-pen!
what other phones are selling better ?
Where is Fisher? I love that guy comparisons
Checkout mr.mobile - his Own RUclips channel
what pen was he using?
I wanted both of these respective offerings to be more compelling. I miss the glory days of HTC and it's amazing devices such as its Evo line up. As for LG, if only the G5 were more like the V10, I'd be more impressed. It's just difficult to see passing up a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge for either of these given the larger screen, better build, bigger battery and amoled display.
I really hope that the HTC 10 is water resistant tho, technobuffalo said that it's IP56 but I doubt it
i guess im going g5 because of that wideangle camera, its just too good of a feature..plus removable battery and sd slot just seals the deal for me.
In my the HTC 10 is the best flagship this year.
+AMK We're yet to see Sony. I hope it's not a disappointment though.
+Glenn Mark Cruz lol, Sony will probably pull a Sony again. First they pull a 4k screen only to realise that the resolution war have not reached that stage, Then they pull a HDR 1080p screen which seems too niche, as a Sony fanboy, I dun know anymore, I guess I will stay with my z3(the dual dac is amazing, wish they would bring it back)
get the pixel if you can
Finally, a tech review that's filmed in 60fps.
sense looks so smooth
I really hope htc and lg do good. The s7 however is king this year. Seriously, battery, camera, performance, screen, waterproofing, storage, ergonomics, the s7 has is all!
Juan great video and I really like your voice. Now Michael left Pocketnow a month ago. Go to his Twitter if want to know more. Now that question answered. So we can get to enjoying Juan's videos. Again great job Juan.
Great Review 👍
Camera lg
HTC 10 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Comparison Video Please.
ok which one should I buy HTC 10 or lg g5
LG V10 unless you are a gamer.
