I’m glad some RUclipsrs no how to fly a long range 7 inch correctly because it turns out some don’t.

Tip for GPS: Use "Faraday tape" to wrap the GPS wires. It will help ALOT with interference

Just built up an o3 and speedybee hybrid based on this frame. Very disappointed that the props are in view! It's clearly a deadcat design that doesn't work

Hmm interesting about the triblade thing I might have to do some testing my logic is yes tris reduce range but they also increase responsiveness and probably should be able to fight the wind better🤔 I have some 7in LR biblades I can try my theory is if you go triblade but go up in blade size it would counteract the decrease in range due to the change in disk load and reduced rpms 🤷🏼♂️ foldable is cool
No for handling wind. Been flying both props for a decade Casey.
@@dronecamps you do have me on the experience front for sure 😅 went back and watched the Chris rosser video about how to choose props and now I have even more questions 😂 he is saying disc load has a significant impact on efficiency but my question is how much does it counteract the added blade with a larger prop? He was saying stay under 450 mph tip speed and having more blades reduces tip speed required. If you did a 7in biblade vs a 7in triblade they would agree it will decrease efficiency based on your experience and the data Chris presented that would be logical but my theory isn't 7in bi vs 7in tri its are 8in tri better that 7 in bi or close enough that why not get the benifits of a tri 🤷🏼♂️

@@dronecamps another variable I thought about while sitting on the pot is the weights of the props. Now obviously the tri will be heavier but I've got different biblade prop materials. I've got 2 different 7in bi blades and one is alot heavier. I haven't found a "light weight" 8in tri blade yet but a factor to consider. Who knows maybe the larger disc load is significant enough the weight of the prop doesn't matter enough 🤷🏼♂️. Science
