The Never Ending Latch Problem - Episode 101

Today I travel to Port 32 Marina in Tampa to look at two regals. A 26 OBX and a 36 XO. Both have door latch problem that all boats seem to have. I also do a few other things. As always thanks for watching.

Question....if i put to much gear oil in my outdrive....will it cause my motor to not start?

That would not cause a no start unless the gears are locked up in the case. If the prop turns freely (in neutral)with the motor not running then the gearcase is not the problem.

@@JustinLeeMarine ok thanks. I added gear oil dropped it in the water and it stalled and wont start now. Some white smoke came out.. thought the only thing i did was add gear oil .

Could be a lot of different things. Start with the basics. Fuel, spark compression, and go from there.
