The fuzzy melon makes a delicious soup. I like it cooked in a broth made with dried shrimp. It is a Vietnamese favorite. I've grown them as large as 55 pounds to be consumed in the winter. The fuzz is actually a bunch of very tiny sharp spines that will stick in your hands. That's why Regine was supporting it with her fingernail.

The blossom of the okra is a dead giveaway that it is from the hibiscus family. Beautiful flowers. It came from Africa - perhaps that's why it likes the heat so much. The watermelon came from Africa as well.

hi, u can eat raw okra if it has no pesticide. but if u use pesticide wash it thoroughly before eating it raw. if u eat it raw, show the video u r eating it raw so they would know. its delicious.
