Almighty God has all the answers and with the aid of His Son, Jesus Christ, He has ensured that we are privy to His answers...you see...at the inception of Planet Earth, God knew that at a point in its future it would again face the dilemma that put this planet in a tidal lock and totally void of any life...that time is bearing down heavily upon us now. When the resurrection comes, and it will, each reborn person will be compared against the Book of Life and those whose sin doesn't exceed what is written in that book will be allowed to repent...those not written in that book...Well...let's just hope that we are.
Why did you have to say "flat earth"? Now I have flat earth videos showing up in my suggestion list because I've watched a video that mentions the term. 🙄 Moreover, your mention of it is a non sequitur because you obviously know nothing about the types of people who get deceived by the idea. Many of them interpret a few Bible verses incorrectly, and they say they'll believe God, not man (failing to realise that they're believing themselves and their erroneous teachers, rather than the truth). Many of these people are otherwise quite well educated and I have no doubt that the vast majority would pass the harder of the geography tests mentioned in the video, though they would likely note their belief that the earth isn't a globe. The other main group of believers in a flat earth are conspiracy theorists who believe that the government is deceiving them about many things, including the nature of the earth and the universe (note that the two groups of flat earth believers are not mutually exclusive). These people generally also seem to be very well aware of where on a map various places of the world can be found, and they use their knowledge of geography in their arguments. Their logic is false, and they come up with many incorrect assertions to try to "prove" their belief, but as with the religious ones, they know where to point on a map to locate major countries, oceans/seas, continents, etc, because they use this information in their arguments. The third group that I should mention are the pranksters and trolls, who don't actually believe in a flat earth, but they like to deceive people for fun. These people invariably know geography very well because they make up many of the flat earth arguments so they can laugh at people who believe them. This, of course, is a much smaller group than the others. In short, while I'm certainly not defending belief in a flat earth (I've seen evidence with my own eyes that confirms that the earth isn't flat, and in the past I've argued against flat earthers until they've given up and gone away, having failed to disprove my disproofs of their belief), in the interest of defending the TRUTH of the matter, I have to say that the comment about flat earthers was a cheap shot at people that the presenter demonstrably knows nothing about. The connection made between them and people who are geographically uneducated is an indication of the presenter's utter lack of knowledge about flat earthers. It would've been far better not to have mentioned them at all because all that it did was to make an insinuation about flat earthers that isn't true for any of the ones I've come across or heard about, thereby breaking the Commandment that says not to bear false witness against your neighbour. You need to get your facts straight before you speak against someone or a group of people.
