For me it's an absolute return to form for The Wonderstuff. I loved the original by The Beat and i know the Wonderstuff has changed over the years but who cares,it's all about how the music makes you feel and this makes me happy . Great version !!
Ranking Roger saw my band at the Barrel Organ in the mid 80s - he thought we were great but unfortunately we never made it like the Wonderstuff - our band was called The Spellbinders - I also share the same Birthday as Miles Hunt but I’m two years older and a fellow Brummie
MY GAWD!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!! If anyone can hold a bad mood while this is playing, then i truly pity you my friend! 75+ listens so far in 24 hours LOL!!!!! Thanks Miles & Co.!!!!
I have a sudden urge to want to take Violin lessons. I wonder if she's available. When I first heard English Beat do this song was when a friend of mine played it for me around Christmas time and now every Christmas it's one of my favorite songs I play. I cannot go through the Holidays and not play this song.
used 2 b in2 the beat when i wa a young un, then bin in2 the stuffies since 1987 so this sounds just great.....roll on may 20th, at the leopard in sunny donny.......doncaster that is, yeah!!!!
I can feel that bass in my chest 😮
This is my favorite cover of this song.
Fav bands from early 90s when I lived in the UK ..fun rendition and whoever that woman is ..I am smitten
Beautiful interpretation of one of that era's greatest songs.

Loved the original and this is a bloody good cover.

Well, it sounds like actual live musicians playing in a room together at the same time. And that's what kept me listening.
Awesome job on an awesome job.
Wow - always rated this song - interesting to hear another version.

Goodnight, Roger.
Yep,This is Immense.Prefer it to "There There My Dear" straight away.Love It : )
If you want to hear this covered a thousand times better, check out the Harvey Danger version.
Martin Gilkes, ex pupil st peter's collegiate wolves.......
BLOKE!
Excellent cover! The fiddling makes it uniqiue.
Not sure I agree with the "10 times better than the original" comment but, by jingo.....That's good!
As much as I dig Townsend’s Cover This moves a lot better for me bravo
Love it! Ten times better than the original. Mainly down to the quality of Erica's playing.
You're out of your mind.
true, the fiddle just adds extraneous noise.
I didn't know Harley Quinn was in a band... Good stuff...

loved the original & this isnt too bad, but pearl jam`s cover is the best ive come across so far
Pearl Jams?
Each to their own.
my vote goes to the Harvey Danger version.
Pretty bad. Just watched it for the blonde hottie on the fiddle. She does play pretty awesome! The lead singer kinda sucks....sorry.
I actually like his vox...
Ethan Rozling Just watched it again. U R right. He does a fine job! Sorry!
A little late to the party, but the bass is overpowering everything else.
