I like how at the second phase The King drops fork and knife and picks sword and sceptre. Sword is a very specific weapon, you know. It is not initially meant for hunting (like spear) or for craftsmanship (like axe). Sword is a weapon meant to be used against another armed human beings - for a warrior to use against another warrior. So by tossing away cutlery and choosing to fight with a sword King Nils kind of recognizes Olle not as a food, but as a worthy challenger, a fellow warrior, maybe even an equal. A very fitting conclusion for Olle's character development.
I'll add that the bramble is in control of the king and it started to see Olle as a threat. So, it decided to take big measures to get rid of this little boy who has the power to destroy it.
I like how the music is “In the hall of the mountain king.”
I love how it gets faster in the 2nd phase
I think that's the whole point of the game.😂 It's titled just for this piece of music.
I’m sure I’m not the first one to notice, but if look at some of the king’s attacks while Olle is moving, he suddenly moves his attention ahead of him to try and catch him while he runs. It’s very interesting for a boss to do in my opinion

I just got to the final boss today after finding this awesome game and playing for a few hours. I noticed that, too. He'll position the weapon ahead of you. Pretty cool.
Pretty sure everyone that completed the game noticed this. You couldn't have beaten him otherwise.
I actually feel bad for king Nils. Yeah he was driven to evil deeds, but all he wanted was to save his son.

This rendition of "hall of the mountain king" is one of the most epic piece ive ever heard in gaming. The artstyle had me from minute one as much as the music, but when this piece hit i got full body chills.
Really a brilliant game on a level you dont get that often. Dimfrost Studio is a studio you should look out for. Much like the makers of Ori these people are masters in terms of artstyle. I cant wait for their next game.

What a great game. I played a little bit and sat it down for a week and in glad I came back to it because the game was so awesome.
Had it in the good 'ol Steam library for maybe 7 months now.. finally got the chance to sit down and give it a worthy shot. Finished it all tonight and sheesh.. what a game, it didn't dissapoint in the slightest.
