    • @AtomicShrimp
      @AtomicShrimp  5 лет назад +56

      Lots of dust, definitely don't do this indoors, and definitely wear a dust mask, but it was really easy. The material is soft and carves with only gentle hand pressure. Have a go! The materials are so cheap, it doesn't matter if you don't get it right first time.

    Excellent work. I remember my brother doing something very similar back when we were youngsters, staying at our grandparents house, probably the best part of 60 years ago. I have just spent time searching through old photos to see if I could find a picture of it. I scanned a lot of my dad's old photos in, years ago, but I haven't found that one in my records. I know the head was still there a few years back when I visited my Uncle who lives in the house they built next door and I think that was one of the left over blocks.

      If you put live moss in the yogurt and blend with blender, paint onto the concrete and when dry, mist with water and the moss will grow all over it. It's a great effect, just don't overwater it.

    Brilliant. It was not until fairly recently, that it was found that some Moai have stumpy little arms and legs. Some have long ears, some have short ears. Most things about Rapa' Nui are enigmatic - they know that a written language, Rongorongo existed, and boards of characters have been discovered - but the means of decrypting them are not there.
