When I was a kid sometimes I go alone to the banks of the Pasig river alone, but the river is quite far about three miles and there is this very steep road that you have to go down to and up when I go home but still I persist. The river is actually dead and smell so foul that is why no one ever does that but I'm attracted to the power of it. It may be dead but the dynamics of a river is mesmerizing to me and you can feel the power of the water all coming together into the river. There is also some thrill form the gushing water spilling out from the canals joining the river. Sometimes I bring my dog but often times I leave Brownie in my cousin's house when I go to the river bank or I play with my cousins too in between.
My cousin's house is halfway on the way to the river bank. The river is actually being rehabilitated now and there are signs that life is going back slowly.
They say there is a beautiful mermaid that lives there and every year an evil merman takes a child's life, I didn't see anything though there but judging by the quality of the water, if there ever was she was long poisoned to death. LOL!
There is this river in Alabang City in Metro Manila beside Festival Mall, I think, but it's very far away. Metro Manila is a very big place. There is this knee-deep river that is teeming with all kinds very fishes in this shallow river, you can actually catch a big fish with your bare hands easily. But the mall put a fence along the banks so you can't go down. There are also many birds that feed on fishes. But it's not actually a river but rather an extension of the Laguna de Bay and remain connected to it in a shallow way, being the nerd I am, I actually followed the river to it's end and it ends into a muddy trickle. During summer the fishes are trapped into that river but they all seem well when the rainy season comes they can go back into the lake. Maybe the mall intentionally trapped them there but the river is natural and so is it's ecosystem and the mall is built around it.
I would probably need 110 mm wheels at a minimum to skate my old neighborhood. The streets have gotten pretty bad there since I grew up. I would also have to be sure I have the speed to skate away from the loose angry dogs. Dogs hate us skaters.
That really cool tree looks like it could be a mesquite tree. 🖤
I love strolling down memory lane. I’ve lived in several states and always revisit when possible
I really enjoy and appreciate your vids bro! Thanks!❤
Everything in the US is just huge... By the time of this video I'd skate about twice trough the village I grew up 😅 Greetings from Switzerland 😘

Neighborhoods in Las Vegas look fairly normal, except the greenery- here in the more woodsy & wet part of Oregon, there’s trees & greenery everywhere

I am going to came to the Las Vegas for work and travel program for this summer!!! Maybe we will meet f2f xd
