Depends. You have to check what model the motherboard is and the socket. There are many variations to this laptop but most likely yes you can change the cpu. Just make sure to check your motherboard and the socket. The one in the video is fcbga1356 cpu. I already have an i7 so I don’t plan on upgrading this
The one in the video, yes If you look at cpuz screenshot toward the end there are many cpus compatible with this socket. But definitely check you laptop and available cpus

I think I put a 100gb lexar ssd on this laptop. I have a 256gb lexar ssd on another laptop and they both work great so far. Just your average budget SSD

500 gb should be no problem for storage. Ive used 1tb before. For the ram whats the cpu installed
