i believe japan and maybe south korea but mostly japan, are the only countries with awesome and exotic vending machines... one of my motives to visit japan is trying all vending machines😂 i hope some day i do it🤞😊
American vending machines seem pale by comparison to Asian/Japanese ones. The only unique "American" vending machine that is worth mentioning is the ginormous Carvana auto dispenser. Those are very far and very few between (and might disappear soon due the parent company having financial woes.) Safe Travels, Eric!
I live in a small town in Germany and we finally got a vending machine. After years of watching Erics videos, I can finally get a Pizza from a vending machine. The machine itself is really popular, so I hope we can get more in the future!
American vending machines don't come close to the vending machines on Japan, they seem very similar to the type we have here in the UK. Really nice to see the US in your videos :)
@@aaronweiser5421 Yeah they are pretty limited here, mostly in hospitals, leisure centres, and sometimes in gyms. Sometimes you get them at railway stations but those rarely work lol.
I know that Japan has a cotton candy vending machine; I saw a video showcasing it. I can't remember who did the video though. Nice bonus with you Eric. I wish I had been paying attention to my phone instead of hunting down okonomiyaki mix again. Seems the store I bought it from isn't getting any more because it wasn't a big seller. Had I known that, I would have bought a few bags of the mix. Not sure how authentic it was, but it did come from Japan.
Ok, who else saw the Zoltar machine and immediately thought of the film "Big"? Its my birthday today, so I was already feeling old.... but I think that observation has confirmed it lol!
I used to watch your content absolutely Years ago. Like the pencil trick kinda times. Loved watching all the vending machines videos. Thank you for the content sir 🙏
Awesome video. So much fun watching. We're in Pgh Pa. When we were kids we had vending machines in the rest stops on the highways. So much fun to see what's inside. Usually Kleenex, lil toys. Handy travel items. The caravan I believe is used cars. Neat concept. Here in pa. Lottery machines are everywhere. Pharmacy stores, grocery stores, convenient stores etc Lol for fun they say. ☺️☺️☺️☺️ Seems that the gumball dispensers always have stale gumballs. Unless you're lucky😳🙄☺️☺️🫶🫶
I absolutely enjoy watching your videos so much I’ve been watching them for years and years ❤ It’s so cool you came to California!! Hopefully you had a blast in Mexico 🇲🇽
Gumballs are addictive lol. Love the blue kicks 😊 Wish you had time to visit Indianapolis. Great restaurants and lots of vending machines 😊 take care, be safe, and looking forward to the next one. ❤
Loved the Zoltar machine! Whenever I see one of those, always reminds me of the movie Big, lolol And that car and cotton candy vending machines looked really cool! So happy that you finally got to visit your son! Hope you’ve been awesome and thanks, Eric! 😃😎
Welcome back to the states 🙂 the last time I seen a gumball vending machine it was not a $1 for it or $1.50 for a can soda my last visit to the fort Lauderdale they had credit cards wifi wireless transfer an digital screen. where I live now they charge $2 for a 16oz soda but other places in the area say no the digital machine 😟✌️❤️
Another great video Eric!!!!! I truly love your videos my friend thanks for the entertainment and we'll see you in the next one!!!!! Go team get some!!!!!!!! 🍺🤗
car vending machine...haha! That's funny! WOW where in my home town of Huntington Beach did you find the cotton candy machine? No fair eric...you gotta give location names.
I loved this video Eric. That car vending machine was unique! How did you rate the US vending machines in comparison to the Japanese ones? Hope to see more of the Dude’s got it in future videos.
Well there's no comparison really cuz you don't have the amount of food items that are offered in Japan in vending machines. It's all just snacks and candy in America. But the car vending machine and the cotton candy vending machine are both definitely lit
@@ericsurf6 yea the machine are like that here in England, mainly drinks and snacks. There was once a pizza vending machine near me but in typical British style it got vandalised by youths 🙄🙄
Love your videos Eric. By the way, I remember that my brother and I were on the way home to England from the US around 2015 and got talking to a guy named Eric who looked a bit like you in a pub at Washington Dulles, was it you? Does fish and chips ring a bell?
Interesting trip! I liked the key machiine as well. I can't believe a gumball is .50¢. I remember back to a penny. Gumballs were smaller then, but wow, has the prices gone up! I guess we're too old to remember so long ago the prices in our childhood(s)!
No matter what all the vending machines you find are always good no mater what type of machine it is and fun to watch. But always been intrigued to know what your kids the dudes got it and mega brains real names are 😃
I'm in Ontario Canada and have used a key cutting machine. Worked great! Have you ever been to Canada? We have chips here that you can't get in the states, possibly not in Japan
Way back, UCLA had like a vending machine central. They had hot foods, like canned spaghetti and stuff. I don't remember exactly what they had, but it was all sorts of food and drinks. I would imagine US universities would have even more and better vending machines by now.
yeah, I doubt the kinds of vending machines like in Japan would catch on here - I think our closest version of that would be our frozen foods section in our grocery stores - lots of small, frozen packaged foods.
To be fair, both are fairly generic Captains with raincoat characters. But it is kinda funny, just imagine instead of flattening penny's it'd dispense fishsticks! LOL! You know, I joke but I actually wouldn't mind some fresh hot fishsticks from a vending machine, if done properly. I mean, it definitely beat boring over-priced snacks or if you're "lucky" sandwiches where you can never tell how fresh/old it really is, that you find in US vending machines.
I love Gumball machines so much I collect them, that Cherry gumball was probably a bit old as they go harder with age although I've noticed the flavour with Dubble Bubble tends to be just in the shell.
@@ericsurf6 8 I thnk as only a few are on display, ones actually converted into a Sea Monkey tank, being a Brit I grew up on Angelo Bubbly and Bubaloo but it's hard to pick favourites now as I've bought all sorts to try out, quite partial to Sour Blue Raspeberry or Cherry myself.
When we were kids in the 60's, we would visit Ciudad Juarez, across the boarder from El Paso, for "popcorn". Pro tip, skip the crickets, too earthy, go for the grasshoppers, take off the legs, (They stick in the throat) and take off the head,(It's bitter).
The American Vending Machine Walk of Shame...sigh.... Cotton Candy machine looked like something you would find in Japan. How weird is it back in the States again......like going Old School again. Great espisode.
Being from the UK, I found this really interesting, not necessarily for the variety but it was fun to see the different brands in the US :)
Thanks so much Ashlee~!

Woohoo - I have been wanting to make this video for a long time~!
@ericsurf6 awesome job as always Eric.

Eric, I was just watching old videos from you. Like 10-14 years ago. You are not aging 😮😅 Whats the secret?😎
Hey, remember the pay toilets of years ago. In a way they were vending machines; but instead of a product they provided a service. 🤪
I used to do the limbo under the door to beat the dime it cost to open it.
I was hoping you'd pick the cheez-its lol. I love those!
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Awesome stuff dude
Thanks so much Fish Dude!
