i became a patreon user and cloned this app nothing works even this combineLists custom function gives erros why didnt you paste the custome code in the description. there was not even a page to create a login or sign up is there something i'm missing or you made it this way for a reason ?

It doesn't work, you're only going to see 10 profiles, no more...... and I'll explain why, all very well, but when users are already registered and you start to see profiles, firebase doesn't allow you to use in or not-in with a query greater than 10, so that it is understood, that you are only going to see 10 people, that's as far as the app goes.... any solution ?????, any real solution, not that they say it can be solved with algolia, a real code

I know this video is old, but why are "matches" and "rejected" strings and not document reference user, given that the matched and rejected are actual users???

hello im working on an app where you answer questions, and so i used the 'not in' operator to filter out the questions who's id is in the user document so that it doesnt show the same question twice and that works at first but after answering 10 questions it crashes and says that the user document list its filtering from can't contain more than 10 elements.
but if i clear the list then the old questions will pop up again.
I have 100 questions for the user to answer so... anybody know how i could work around this?

Thank you or the video. How can I make a "There's a match!" screen when it occurs? I can check a condition on the main page. But it works only when the app is launched. It doesn't work when the user is already dealing with the app or chooses the app from the list.

I was able to create an account but not able to enter the user profile details. My questions how do I match the UID from the Authentication table to the user table.

yes its possible, but you need to integrate your website with Firebase through self-written code and an api. I do the same with discord, where people can register themselves through a bot and their information gets send to firebase. Realtime-Databases also exist within firebase. If you want to get in contact, let me know.

Hi James only watched 2 minutes. Can we also add a backend to all of this? For example an algorithm, push notifications etc? If we are able to, does it have to be programmed (NodeJS for example) or is it possible with No-code also?

I am typing in the code for combineLists and it seems to be not seeing the as an active variable or => isn't changing color either? Is their something wrong with flutterflow. Also everytime I time in Combine Two Lists it gives me something that does't work. Anyone else having this same issue?

I got it working then, when I refreshed. all the users stopped uploading at the conditional visibility add ons. everything else about this was pretty flawless. Bravo James. Thanks for your time and efforts!
did you have an unexpected null value error ?
Any suggestions or other videos you may have to enable geolocation searching or preferences in this app? Trying to add it around the 23:00 min mark in your video as another filter to search other matches on (search by desired gender, not in the rejects or matches list, plus add a preference the user can select to only look at others within a 30 mile radius for example).
I'm also having trouble making fields require (requiring one photo before "Completing" the new user's profile, making sure they have one at all times). And also struggling with getting the LatLng integrated in the edit and complete profile pages (doesn't actually pull location when testing).

Great video, thank you for making the adjustments to your presentation style. This was very informative.
If you can it would be great to see a video on how to group collection data on a screen based on a query. For example grouping a listview or gridview by date. Were the date is coming from a field in a collection.
The issue is that Firebase does not allow filtering new users if there are more than 10 IDs in the 'not in' list. Do you know how to solve this? It throws an error if you have more than 10 IDs in the 'not in' list

@@emeriktremblay3881 yes but not using firebase i use supabase api call url bash with not in filter it's cause flutterflow don't has a not in filter you need to make you own api call

The NOT IN backend query in filter 2 is limited to 10 elements. Once someone swipes 10 times no results will be shown. Do you have a way around that?

No you'd have to create the database. He did it beforehand

@@SolomonQuansah You mean the chat messages? Around the 30 min mark he created a conditional action that would create a new document (chat messages, etc). Thought you meant the 10 users at the beginning of the video

Awesome video, thanks James. Making the step from having my bookings be sub-collections rather than their own will really clean up my DB in the long term. I'm having issues with the scheduling aspect of the app. I did find a custom widget for a date range picker (awesome!), but I'm not sure how to prevent bookings during the same time period/overlapping bookings. Wondering if you have any advice on where I could look to solve this problem?
