The sunglasses on the original marty hot toys HAVE to be like that so you can pull off the movie poster scene. The original hot toys one is still king

I have the original hot toys Marty, decided to get the 2.0 hot toys Marty with Einstein, i was thinking about this one so glad i didn't go for this one but will look at picking up the headsculpt at some point

Thanks for the review, was consider getting this one since I missed out on both 1.0 and 2.0 for Hot Toys but have the DeLorean coming in. It definitely looks like Marty and other than the ugly forearms/wrist pegs, totally works for me. Sucks he's not shorter, but since I don't have any other Marty (or even Doc) it shouldn't be an issue for him. I'll pose him with the DeLorean. I also really appreciate you lining him up next to the Hot Toys one for comparison. And, he's cheaper so that helps make up for some of the lower-quality, too. Excited to see Present Toys stepping it up. This Marty and the recent Indiana Jones are both great contenders and alternates for desirable but hard to get figures.

Great review! I am a big fan of the Present Toys Indiana Jones figure and glad to see them (mostly) keeping up their good work. Ironically I see more Eric Stoltz in that head sculpt... a parallel universe incursion?

Thanks for the review, Justin. I didn't know this existed. Do you know if it's possible to pop this Present Toys Boy head sculpt onto the Hot Toys 1.0 or 2.0 Marty bodies, and how that might look? With sunglasses on, I prefer this Present Toys likeness to the HTs, though I prefer most of the rest of the HT. I might be interested to pick this up for the head, sunglasses and guitar if heads are swappable.

I have the original Hot Toys release, and while I was tempted to get the 2.0, I didn’t think the sculpt was enough of an improvement to warrant buying it. I’ve heard Inart may tackle the figure in the figure. Now that is one I’m looking forward to seeing!

@Justin's Collection should InArt do a take on Punisher and Daredevil? I haven't bought any of their figures, but I would love to buy either of those characters from a trusted brand as I missed the Hot Toys Netflix releases.
I think the swoosh is trademarked. That's the only thing I can think if why they don't say Nike either or the Vattera on the skateboard. It looks like they borrowed the Crow guitar too lol.
It's a third party figure. It doesn't matter to them lol.
The whole thing is infringing on many things so that would be kind of a non issue

Present toys version looks more like Eric stoltz, The original actor that was supposed to play Marty. But you can definitely pick it up if you want to have a what if version.

Just not seeing the likeness in there. Maybe the flattening effect of the camera ruins the likeness. Regardless, it seems like a great extra figure to put into the Delorean.

I just got one. Not a bad figure. Guitar and backpack are nice. The skateboard wheels and guitar strap are placed inverted. The watch is crap. Neck is too long. The jacket badges are a joke. Hopefully I got some spare parts years ago. I'll do a much needed upgrade.

@@JustinsCollection Yeah. Stoltz was also bigger then fox and took a more serious approach. Thats what got him fired in the end. The sculpt and proportions looks abit like him for me.
