So much fun. Loved the jumping. Girl you are so very cool. Love love love the ball of roving and the shuttle necklace. What a wonderful weekend you had. Good for you.
Thanks for taking us along for this iconic event. You have such a presence on both sides of the camera. My spirits were lifted after watching the video, I was just smiling after a sort of rough day. It was surprising to see Good Clean Fiber in your haul as they are local to me. It’s a treat to have fiber sourced and prepared for the ultimate spinning experience. Our guild did a challenge with Jacob fleece to blend the 9ish colors to make a sheep hat. I look forward to seeing more of you on RUclips.
Yup. Worth the wait! I am not fond of crowds, perhaps I should go on Sunday next year. I used to raise Jacob sheep. Don't be surprised if the different colors from the same sheep feel different. The black on my ram was much softer than his white wool. I have heard this from other Jacob breeders as well. It will be fun to see what you do with it
Wow, what a nice compilation of what looked to be a fantastic weekend. The tree color against the blue skies almost as good as your lovely outfits. I look forward to seeing what you make with all your purchases. We have a much smaller fiber festival near me in Monroe, WA in the spring. Someday would love to attend Rhinebeck, thanks for helping me be there virtually.
It looked like tons of fun! Excited to see what you make with some of your purchases, and I hope you have a good chunk of time during the holiday break!
Great overview of the festival, you are so positive. Love your free and creative attitude towards weaving. I definitely need to loosen up. 😅. Looking forward to seeing all of your work.
Andrea you made the festival seem so much fun! I love your purchases- especially your beetle button. Have you read /listened to the book Miss Benson’s Beetles? It’s an endearing story about a search for a beetle.
what a coincidence! was rewatching your rhinebeck 2020 vlog while waiting for a new video and you make an upload about this year's one! this festival seems so fun!! it must be really cool to be surrounded entirely by people who share the love for yarns and textiles for a few days! ❤ and it's so easy to share your joy, your videos always put a smile on my face and inspire me 😊❤
And this year there was no storm yay! As always a wonderful video. I heard of a fiber festival in Switzerland so I’m saving up to travel there. Hugs from Aix en Provence, Adrien
I was wondering if you would consider doing an "everything you need to get started weaving" video. Christmas is coming up and it's the perfect time to ask for a baby loom. Don't know if you could compile your recommendations for looms, textiles, and tutorial videos to watch to get started for beginners.
This is literally everything ofc ~~~~ and EPIC HAUL!!!! (ETA: that collar pattern is so cute I'm so excited to see it in that lavender mohair) Do you have any advice for trying to get into Rhinebeck? I tried researching tickets/registration at the start of this year but couldn't really find any info for Rhinebeck 2022... maybe 2023 :~)
Watching this video and drooling over all the beautiful yarns. I live on the border of the Bronx, but would not be able to afford to go to the festival, sad to say. I loved the sweater you were wearing, can't believe that is the first one you did. I've not knitted any sweaters since the 80's My Mom used to sew them up for me. Now I just knit hats, cowls, scarves, and wraps. Sweaters are just too time consuming to knit, and sewing is not my best skill. If I can ever save up to take Amtrak to Rhinebeck and back, would just go for the day. Is there a bus that can take you to the fair grounds from train station, and back? For now I'll just do the NYC Yarn Crawl. Going to go to Brooklyn Heights to go to Woolyn on Atlantic Ave, and the Brooklyn General Store on Union Street. I wish Purl Soho would reopen, my friend is getting my yarn from their website for me. Great video, your skill is really good, I'm trying to learn to get better at it. I used to have a website to sell my handmade jewelry, and hand knits, so took all my own product photos. I was pretty good at it, but video is harder for me, even with my iPhone.
The algorithm recommended this video for me, and oh my goodness you are amazing! Subscribed so fast, I want to be your friend! Look forward to seeing your other work!!!
Hello! New subscriber here, I'm putting two and two together, do you go to FIT for weaving? Asking bc I graduated from there with major in weaving!! Love your pendant!!
Yes, I'm a textile design student at FIT! 😃 We don't have the option to specialize anymore, but I'm definitely having the most fun with weaving 🥰 Thank you for watching!! ❤️❤️❤️
I LOVE your energy! I can't wait to see what you will create with this big ball of yarn. 🥰
So much fun. Loved the jumping. Girl you are so very cool. Love love love the ball of roving and the shuttle necklace. What a wonderful weekend you had. Good for you.

Serious yarn festival envy. Next year they better include a transportation device to europe 😂
