My god what does it take to get a non corrupt government?
The cost would be a total revamp of our government. Bring in farmers, every day labourers to run the govt. No more having anyone in govt that was NOT born and bred Canadian. Even still there will be some corrupt in govt. Power breeds greed just as money does. Unfortunately not everyone can stand against temptation
I think after this, most of us will vote very carefully and wisely. That’s what I hope. Many people ignored politics before. Now they are waking up, signing petitions and getting to this point. Bringing everything under audit and investigation.

We need to find out how to get laws changed that no party can block questions at a standing committee even if they have the majority because all Canadians have the right to answers at all times from their government. Your elected person should be able to and it's their job to ask questions and get answers for their riding without being blocked. If someone can tell me how we can change that, I am all in. It is for the greater good of all Canadians because even when conservatives have the majority 😊 I want to make sure anyone can hold them accountable as well and that they couldn't block Canadians from getting answers

As a 72 year-old Canadian, I am dam sick and tired of the corruption of this government. This is not who we are as Canadians. We were world reknown as a country of honesty, integrity, safe and willing to offer succor to those without such an honest government ... Now we are "under control" of a drama teacher who dresses up for each part, cries on cue, and spouts what he thinks we want to hear. We are not as interested in the platitudes as we are in what is being done with our money. I am no longer proud to call myself Canadian. I am anxious to once again have a government I can trust with my tax dollars.

Man, I'd love to take some time away, and really, I don't begrudge anyone who needs to recharge their batteries and spend time with family and friends. You'll need to spend time with family at Christmas, maybe at your kid's graduation, weddings, or anniversaries. Gee, the list can be endless!
Politicians' lives are not easy, and the demand for their time is relentless. I genuinely appreciate all MPs from all parties. Canadians need to be mindful of maintaining respect for all people, not just the folks they agree with. When a politician signs up and decides to take the job, that's part of the gig, and that's why the salaries are what they are. The issues are important, and let's call a spade a spade; liberals are having one heck of a time with their declining poll numbers. Please do yourself a favour, and don't give the media more ammunition, giving them the impression that you don't want to come to work!
