you can technically still block the account (click on the circle, view profile, click on any of their own posts, report for any reason, then you can block the profile) but it still doesn’t get rid of it 😒

Ok I figured it out after screaming at the AI for hours trying to find a reel I'd liked on a page I follow, which it couldn't manage to do (and even told me I hadn't watched any reels that day). Here it is: type your search in the place where there should be a search bar but is now just the AI prompt. Before you submit the question, you'll see what you typed with the magnifying glass symbol just below. Click that. Voila! Normal search. Idk if it's working now because I told it was a lying stalker enough times or if it was already there but it's worked multiple times now. Also even if you can't block Meta AI from its profile, you CAN mute it permanently. Maybe that helped? Idk. Someday I hope AI can at least be helpful instead of so effing invasive.
I think they might have removed the option to block it from Instagram. I can see it how to block anyone else but meta ai. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

They fixed it so that you can't block or report it. I view on the website and now on the phone they removed that option too.
