Nice Video, Rich! I love the storage design you came up with, very neat. Definitely better than cardboard :) +1 for the library suggestions. I have a few around me that do it for free (for now anyways) and they show you how to use the printers and everything. Libraries are amazing! My workplace also has a makerspace but working from home 99% of the time, I rarely get to use those printers.
Thanks Naz! Yeah my local library has all kinds of stuff I didn't even know about. My wife was actually the one who told me about it awhile back. I need to get up there and check out the 3D laser scanner they have!
@@DeepSpaceAstro Ha my wife was the one to tell me about the makerspace at the local library. Then I started looking around all the other libraries around me and they all have a ton of stuff. The library of things is currently my favorite service. We've been borrowing stuff there for us and toys for our son for a few weeks and returning them, so much better than buying something and having to store them when he grows out of it. If you're ever in Boston, let me know, I can take you to our makerspace at work.
If you said it in the video, and I missed it, I apologize. Are you printing these in PLA or PETG usually? Wondering if the heat would be an issue at all. If PETG, going to have to pick myself up some.
Hi Rich, I sent 2 email on your offer in creating a 3D design for my telescope, and hope your all right as I have not got a reply. Just sent you a 3rd email. Thanks!

PLA and I haven't had any issues with them.
Is the file able to be modified? I have large binos, and don't want the film to cover the full aperture.
I've modified an .stl in Fusion 360 before, so it should be.
Super cool Rich! Sent you an email!
Thanks! Got it and replied.
