The fact that you even considered updating us, not once, but twice speaks VOLUMES about how much you care about your fans, tbh. But like I said on the last video, you could take a break for a few days and most of us would understand, and bleep anybody that hates the idea of you taking care of yourself, before coming to take care of us.
Like others I am a recent fan, and just saw this almost a year late. My heart went out to you in this video. I’ve been in the hospital a few times during Covid and it is scary, and we should all be brave enough to go to get care if we know something isn’t right. So glad you’re back to making fun videos. I agree with you, but, like she said, if she's not putting out content, she's losing money. As someone who's been self-employed, this is one of the toughest things to deal with. You don't get sick leave. I hope she strikes a healthy balance and doesn't overdo it.

Re-watching this in 2022! In 2020 i took care of my Mom dying from cancer in my home. She passed on December 17th 2020. Still i was so worried because of you, Girl😇

Same, but internally in my own mother's voice - with less compassion and patience. Mine was a nurse, I'm too familiar with the ER, and I think it's adorable in a condescending way that Charlotte's only been once before. In the same breath, I'm tearing up because I can feel her throat-knives, loneliness and fear in the isolation. Love 🥰

Being sick when you're alone is scary. I went through COVID-19 alone in a hotel room and it was very frightening. I'm glad we both reached out, got help, and pulled through. Here's to a happy, healthy, 2021.

I was too... moving to Arizona and got stuck in Vegas.. I was SICK! I didn't know anyone or where I was, it was horrible! I ended up going to the front desk in tears and they called me a cab to go to the hospital. It sucked so bad..

when I caught covid in april, I had the eaxct same symptoms, swollen throat which was so painful it felt like I was swallowing broken glass whenever I drank water or ate or even took a breath!!. Horrid!!!!!
Oh man, it's a good thing you went to the hospital!!!😢 Charlotte your health is number 1 most important! Make sure you take care of yourself, before you worry about getting a video up for us. When there is someone like parents you can call and cry to you are not alone. There are many people out there who have absolutely nobody.

absolutely , REST is paramount and shouldn't be ignored or underestimated when recovering from this illness. A month or so doing absolutely nothing now could cure it but try to work through it and it can be with you for years .

Oh my goodness. The tremor in your voice when you spoke about this made me cry. I was hospitalized last year right at the start of lockdown and it was terrifying, I didn't have my phone, I wasn't allowed to have even my husband there, and like you I had let myself get too ill, just brushed it off and was literally crawling around the house sometimes trying to tend to my family. My electrolytes were so low when they did blood tests that multiple docs and nurses told me they had never seen anyone that bad. Horrible and a year later my health is still damaged. Everyone, be good to yourself and if your instinct is that something isn't right, force your loved one to go get care. Thank God my husband did that. Blessings to you all 🙏 ❤
Yup. There were two instances over the past year I "should have" gone to the ER, but I didn't due to COVID. I just toughed it out home alone. For those who truly do need to go, I can't imagine how scary it is during COVID>

I had mono that went undiagnosed for six months and it actually caused inflammation of my liver. I’m so glad you went (even though I’m six months late) because the complications you were experiencing were UNREAL and you deserve treatment so you can get better. I hope you’re feeling better now!
My teenagers brought mono home to me and it nearly killed me! Glad you got help. I was in my 30's when I got it and it started a cascade of autoimmune conditions that are still affecting me in my 60's.

Aw Charlotte. This is utterly heartbreaking to hear. Mono is horrible and I went through something very similar when I lived in Spain and it was so scary. Sadly I still have Chronic Fatigue 7 years on. People don't realise how awful it can be. Glad you went to the hospital. Hope you're so much better and thanks for all the laughs ❤

My boyfriend had mono a couple weeks ago. He was off work for 2 1/2 days and I feel bad cause he was not doing well and it's likely he got it from me, even though I don't think I've had it. 😔

I’m a septic shock survivor and I had double pneumonia and collapsed lung. The doctor sent me home. My mom insisted I go back. Lucky to be alive. Feel better soon Charlotte ❤️🙏

2days ago was a year ago that I was took by ems thankfully my sons father didn't go to work that day and woke up to find me gray, eyes sunken in and not breathing (he thought or couldn't see me breathing) and talking outta my head couldnt stay awake and called ems my o2 was only 30 when they got here and rushed me to trauma hospital took me in and within 2 hours I had a RN rubbing my head telling me I had to fight , I had to fight for my son and then the anesthesiologist Comes over and says "may I pray over you" I said yes plz do. I woke up 8days later in icu , I had been on a vent and was in acoma. come to find out I had the most severe MSSA pneumonia and I aspirated staph into my lungs and had a blood clot in each leg in 36 at the time now 37. I had nurses crying when 18days later I was leaving They told my family that they'd do all they could but they didn't think I'd make it and had my wishes already known and all....craziness for sure! I never had time to be scared BC I didn't know I was even close to that sick I just felt bad n couldn't stay awake. Of course now I know its BC I my brain wasn't getting enough o2 to keepe awake. But I couldn't figure out why the RN was telling me I had to fight and rubbing my forehead ..I kept thinking they think I'm dying or something..what is going on then I passed out and woke 8days later ...😂

Mono is no joke. I went thru the same thing while pregnant with my son. It took 3 months for anyone to help me, I lost 30 lbs, couldn't swallow and had to go for fluids 6x before they realized something was really wrong. 16 years later I still have lingering affects.
As a doctor, I am so sorry to hear that you weren't taken seriously right away. It makes me so sad to imagine, how helpless you must have felt. It was a good call to go the ER. Hope you get well soon❤

AND these numbers ignore all the people never tested because they had no symptoms... now let me give you another tid bit...

Yes it can!! I'm one of those cases! My dad had to threaten the doctors to finally get a diagnosis for me when I was 16. I had lost almost 30lbs. All my ribs were sticking out and I couldn't even swallow my own spit. It was super scary!

Just viewed this, very scary. I was in a non COVID related coma (something very rare) from October to December, I couldn’t walk, talk or get a my back! 6 months later I’m getting there but slowly. Good news is my partner got me a dog. You take care. ❤️

I had the similar symptoms for 8 days now and told myself when I woke up this morning to just go to the walk-in. I ended up testing positive for Mono as well, and it completely sucks the energy out of you. We'll get through it together!!

I work in the ER. I wish more people thought and acted like you. I'm glad you decided to go in and hope you're feeling better. And don't worry, lots of people feel faint when they get an IV and it's scary when you're not used to it.

Don't be afraid to get medical attention when you suspect you might need it. My grandmother essentially died from septic shock as well for avoiding a medical issue. Your health is important and I'm glad you got help. Get as much rest as you can, and I hope you feel better sooner rather than later.

So sorry for your lost. That's the thing: either you recover from the infection like nothing happened, or you get worse and worse until doctors can't help you anymore. The worst thing is we don't know if it's gonna be the first or the second. My father's aunt died from an earring. The ear got infected when piercing the hole and she got a massive infection. True that it was in the 30's but my father always reminds me how delicate human body is, by telling me about his aunt.
