      I did not realize it was yesterday.... but last night and today I am seeking videos on the Dakini, when I am supposed to be doing other things.. this felt most important. She calls.. I think She may be calling all of us.. This is Her time. Thank you for sharing about this auspicious day in this metal ox year

    I loved the video and the great information, but the music was not only distracting but rather discordant. I had to turn the volume off in order to watch it. As someone interested in Tibetan Buddhism and in Yeshe Tsogyal I would have appreciated more appropriate (= Tibetan Buddhist) music or chants.

    If yeshi tsogyal was an incarnation of Saraswati then Buddhism is also a Hindu religion in different name. Im in great confusion at Tibetan Buddhism. There are many god and goddesses name associated with Hindu gods . Like Jambala as Kubera, yeshi tsoygal as Saraswati etc. But i believe in only Buddha's words. I do prayers sometime but i don't rely on prayer for good sake but rely on karma for good sake.
    Need to go mile to cover the knowledge and truth of Dharma.

    Wonderful.
    Interesting how a woman has to be perceived as beautiful to be considered a great dakini (and usually young, a teen), but for the men it does not seem to matter. I hope that is changing now. I wonder about the dakas who come to great female practitioners or help them..?

      Dakinis are absolutely ferocious and drink blood from skull cups and have skins of their enemies as cloth, have severed head garlands. They are beautiful because in this samsaric form in the nirmanakaya, they seem beautiful to the ones who are as meat eating and bloodsucking as she is. The Noble Katyayana said:
      "He eats his father's flesh, while striking his own mother, And cradles in his lap the enemy he killed;
      The wife is gnawing at her husband's bones.
      Samsara is enough to make you laugh out loud! (In the context of ceaseless death and rebirth in the samsara)

      Also being beautiful or having endowed with great features and fortunes is a sign of a higher rebirth, by virtue of collecting great good karma.

      are you sure you don't have cause and effect reversed?
      perhaps, when a realized being with great virtue and great merit takes physical form, that form appears beautiful to others.

    I like your videos. But music for this was rather distracting. Peace

      @Samatha and vipassana music in other videos also inspires me, but for this music was a different.. Not for me.. But if you feel more inspired to do your practice then I am cool with that :)
