Awesome video. I was wondering what that was. Nice little piece of engineering that makes the job very straightforward.
Thanks man! I was wondering as well when I first saw it. Very clever little tool indeed!
It was the same for me, my friends....
Thank you mister @HeavyMetalParkingSpot! In my Harley there is a simpler way to check this, but to adjust is harder. Suzuki designs are always gimmickyer but i like it.
Thank you for watching! 🤘 Gimmicky really is the right word for it! 😄 But it does work really well. I've never adjusted a belt on a Harley.
Great I have one of those and had no clue what it was
Thank you again for your always educational videos
Neither did I first time I saw it! 😀
Thank you and you're welcome! ✌️
That sissy bar is hard core! Greetings from Vermont USA
FTW!!!
Thank you very much! 🤘
Really helpful and 🤘🏻scientific🤘🏻, you young padawans! 😂
Thank you my friend! 🤘
clarify how much weight is off the rear wheel, please
There should be no extra weight when doing the adjustment.
if you don't have this tool, how we can adjust ?
I've seen people adjust their belts so that the are just able to twist it 90 degrees, that's 1/4 of a turn.
@@HeavyMetalParkingSpot same way i'm adjusting mine now. Thanks
i replaced all bearings and tires: This giving me fits= i got the back pully in center.. ,but front 1 makes sqeeek noise like rubing sides.. ugh.. this way harderthan looks. i noticed.. the 7k on bike is low /yet the front sprocket moves 1/16th towards and away from front the bike- maybe slop from tranny .. ? i need help with balance weights too.. ugh/ hate metal stick ons!!! i got sheet lead/ cut my own maybe- $25 for allen head slip ons.. only get like 5.. ugh. ooh - i got lots twistys here and i dropped rear 140 80 15 ...to 130 90 15... silicon road tire is tall in middle and great gas + handles better .. great videos.. always want moreeee bring it metal man !
You're doing a lot of great work! Seems like you're slowly moving towards a great ride. Thank you for the nice words! ✌
BRO, stop teasing with small videos, we wanna see that new gastank. ALSO slap on some radial tires. atleast in the back.
I'm happy that you're excited about the gas tank, and it's definitely on the to-do list! But those bigger things takes time so I have to sneak in a teaser every now and then. 😉 Do you have any radial tires you would recommend?
@@HeavyMetalParkingSpot idk what wheelsize you got bro, but shinko makes variable of sizes
@@lirkan4350 The Savage runs a 19 in the front and 15 in the back. Will check to see if they have any that accept tubes as well. Thanks for the tip!
@@HeavyMetalParkingSpot very expensive but radials do not come for weird tire sizes of the savage except the duel purpose radials.. but there is the shinko street tire 6 ply HD= heavy duty= it for weight but also for tall middle and almost chisel edge for match front in thetwistys.. i did 40mph in a 10 mph and stayed in my lane.. lol they not radial but they stiff and silicon hard in middle makes last ! sticks to road like a fat woman on top! :>)
@@chrisstokley7687 Hey, thanks for doing the research and passing it forward! Will have to take a closer look at those tires!
