Goal: Attempt to complete all Senate Missions and preserve SPQR when the civil war begins. Roman World Conquest. If SPQR survives long campaign victory conditions are not possible.

this is definitely one of if not the best campaign I've ever watched of yours and I've seen quite a lot of them i just like how your going against what you usually do and making the civil war as hard as possible by letting the other Romans at least get up to urban cohorts I'm loving this campaign
Oh, shit, I just realized King Rufus playthrough has long videos too! I love this new format, Legend doesn't seem bored, I get to watch multiple brutal battles and the base game is moderately explained.

Temple of Horse Awesome Temple is an oversight that was never fixed. If I remember right if you're Roman you can upgrade two tier 3 temples that belong to the Gauls and Spanish. This makes a Roman temple to that god with the bonuses but with just a generic name due to not being fully implemented. The Gaul name was fixed at one point but the Spanish never was due to it not being a playable faction.
rome total war is just much simpler than later total wars and i absolutly adore RTW

I laughed so hard at this point in the videa that I literally started crying. I have no idea why this got me so hard :P
when i had the civil war against the brutii i made sure to take their cities in Italy. not only does it protect rome from them, but it gives an easy push the rest of the way. Thats how i did it. i did it with the julii and it worked too. take the cities, protect rome and you should make it easier to finish the civil war.
at 1:08 about... really wanted to see your general and army retrained up with a +4 counter before demolishing the glitch temple
The only thing that irritated me was you said you didn't tell those 2 units to move in the siege, but you did. You were like I don't understand I kept saying back yes you did hoping you'd realize lol

Would have been really handy to have the 4 pairs of scorpions firing down on the reinforcing Brutii from the tops of the seige towers.
Dear god, it's so stressful that because of your years of experience playing TW multiplayer, you just never pause. You had a reinforcement army pop right behind you and yet you didn't even pause.
Not really a critique, you did still crush the enemy easily.

Geraint Thomas if a roman faction gets destroyed they will retake the italian settlements. that is the only time i have seen them with more than 1 region
If you have the original disc with code, you can install through Steam and don't need to pay again.

CAN somebody tell me if not the LEGEND himself why does he have huge units? If he has 80 infantry and archers instead of 160, 80 is that by default i think, it would run smoother wouldn't it ?
Matija Susic Well, since he's a legend he knows making unit sizes bigger also makes it more challenging as cavalry and other units are harder to control properly sometimes.

Matija Susic He thinks lower unit sizes are boring, and I would agree. Rome 1 is an old game and can only utilize one of his processor's cores. His recording software also utilizes some of that core, so the fps isn't always fantastic. He has said when he isn't recording the game runs butter smooth even on 3x speed. TL;DR the game is fucking old and there isn't much he can do about the fps. His computer is fine.

well,that is the problem with the total war series,the ai is shit,which is pretty ironic given the fact that these are STRATEGY games.
Beshneo Yo Nigga Rome total war is from 2004, the AI has had many improvements over the years. I don't know what you're expecting from such an old game.
Nathon mate,I said the series,I can understand that rome total war is an old game but how about the ai from rome 2?that is a relatively new game,so is empire total war and so on.
Pretty much CA dropped the ball on that one best I've seen the AI do is shogun 1 and rome 2(rarely) while watching legends lets plays. All i know is CA fired the person or persons who knew how to make the Ai in the first place and so they cant do it themselves really fucking stupid they fired him imo.

Context is key my friend. He let them get that big, and then gave the Brutii a bunch of cities as well so that they would kick off the civil war.
