Out of interest, did you have any difficulty (or require more force) with closing the hood once you had fitted this? It seems like the rubber moulding from around the main intake section presses hard up against the hood it is being closed. I definitely can't drop it from 2-3 inches anymore to close it..
Looking at @accordingtojoel’s video on the PRL inlet pipe it seems its possible. GruppeM/Blitz only needs the hard factory plastic intake tube for it to work 😉
Not sure about that red they used looks way too bright for me. If I had that intake I would have wrapped over the red in some black gloss or gloss carbonfiber.

Yes, for the initial few times it needed some force. But it’s fine now 😉

You’ll have to take the whole intake box out. Its not too bad since the FL5 has more space to play with than the FK8

Yes technically the same intake just different filters. Blitz is a rebranded GruppeM without the K&N filter that GruppeM uses.

I had the Eventuri on the FK8. This time I wanted a JDM one. Other than that they’re pretty much personal preference 👌
