I'm in LA County the regular rates out here for passenger vehicles are $100 daytime, $120 afterhours. I charge $165 if they get a blowout and need a used tire.

Read my rant for whoever wants to read this: Only $75?? If you spend $10 in gas round trip (way more sometimes). then take out 25% for federal taxes, and take out $5-10 per call for maintenance. That's a net profit of $38-43 per call. We still gotta pay commercial GL and commercial auto insurance, vehicle wear and tear, CC processing fees, some folks gotta pay truck payments. If the whole job takes you 1.5 hours from the time you leave your house and get back home(good luck if there's traffic). That's $25/hour. I would've gotten a job at the AAA office for that pay. I'm charging $100 minimum but I'm about to raise my prices, and that's STILL cheap! And some customers don't wanna pay that, but the ones who know our value have no problem paying. We all need to be on the same page for all my roadside folks. We still got Tom, Dick and Harry lowering our rates, doing it for $65 and $75 when they're not building a business, uninsured, and just want enough money to pay their gas and a few beers

@BandasSemiTires you make many great points. You've also got to think about the area you're in as well. I'm basically the only roadside company in my area that doesn't do towing. I have a paid off truck, tools that have more than paid for themselves. I have hardly any overhead. On a $75 call I pocket $50 and due to how small my service area is I'm done in less than 45 minutes on all of my calls (less than 10-20 minute travel time) so in my area if I charge more than $100/call I'll have zero business because the towing companies here that Offer roadside are between $65-$80 for services including towing. Again you make great points but in my situation charging $120+ isn't feasible.
