Firdous Jamal was right that she is not a really good actress but the success she has and the superstar she is , is due to the charm her personality has and her humbleness rather than her acting
He was absolutely right in saying that mahira is overage because the roles she does are of young girls who are still in 20's whereas she is 34 ,doesn't that make her overage? It's amazing that masses make these ordinary people stars. These stars earn their living by speaking Urdu in dramas. But speak English in interviews, which most of their fans cannot understand. Wouldn't it be wonderful if majority of their fans could understand what is being said. Possible reasons for this behaviour: these stars don't care about their fans and/or are utterly afflicted with inferiority complex. I see a serious disconnect with reality. By the way, I am not Mahira hater but a fan of her work.
More and more of the globe is learning and speaking English. While I understand what you're saying, the core of her audience and fans do know English and make no mistake they don't want to limit their outreach to just the people of Pakistan/India etc that don't speak English. Their outreach is all over the globe especially Europe and North America where the the money is far greater to capitalize on.
