How to DIY Frying Pan Breakfast Shaker Polymer Clay/Resin Tutorial

- Hey everyone! This is PolymomoTea and for today’s video I have a how to make/diy/craft/sculpt this cute/kawaii little Frying Pan Breakfast Shaker tutorial made out of polymer clay and resin. This meal has a fried egg and two sausage links.
You will need polymer clay: an oven bake clay that hardens once baked according to instructions. Commons brands I use are fimo, sculpey and premo. Bought from Michaels, Hobby Lobby or Joanns or Amazon. Air dry clay works just as well.
Resin: a compound that is time curing into a hardened plastic material. I used UV resin, and 2 Part resin. Link to UV resin here: bit.ly/2xCD2DR
Pigments: I used translucent blue and black.
Glitters: silver and black
Micromarbles: clear yellow for "oil" from Miniaturesweets
The mold maker I used is called Translucent Liquid Mold Maker which I got online on MiniatureSweet. But at the craft hobby store, there should be many varieties of mold putty that should work as well! However, unless the mold is clear, you cannot use UV resin. Just so you know the "point" on the sausage is supposed to be the tied off sausage casing. Idk why they started doing that. When you cook sausage any extra casing usually kinda fries up and dissapears or constricts toward the sausage till you cant see it. But yeah thats what the point is.

When I was a kid I would make little miniature things out of Sculpey clay all the time and I would usually find myself gluing things like eyes on after the fact because they would easily fall off. How do you keep things like the dot eyes and line smile from falling off?! Are they just super fragile? Also, I used two part resin to make a ring a couple years ago and it yellowed after the fact. Do you know if I did something wrong or can that happen with two part resin? Why use two part over the kind you can cure? Thanks so much if you answer any of these in advance! Hi important question pls answer does uv light works on craft resin
UV light only works on UV resin. It won't work on the two part epoxy resin.

Flimo do glittery Clay now so you could do this all with clay instead of the resin make it a bit more older child friendly
