In the opening line of "TNT", Bon sings, "see me ride into the sunset, on your color tv screen....", an obvious nod to his love for American westerns. In the song, "Back in Black", the line " you gotta catch me if you want me to hang" is also another tip of the hat to American westerns. Once familiar with Bon's writing it's easy to see he wrote the lyrics to the songs on Back in Black. "Let me put my love into you" and "Have a drink on me" have Bon Scotts unique style. There's no way the band replicated Bons essence so flawlessly. It has been rumoured that the band had already cut all the tracks with Bon singing before his death. A girlfriend if his stated he told her the record was done and sounded great. If there are master tapes of Bon singing the record somewhere, I hope they release them, eventually. does anyone know a story about Bon Scott? I use to work with the sound engineer in Adelaide name Bob nice guy. Bon died from overdose of alcohol he's drink of choice vodka. He's friend left him in the back seat drunk and passed out and went inside. Instead of helping him inside they walked away leaving him passed out drunk sitting up and he choked to death from his own vomit. He also said Bon drank too much and it wasn't long until something like to happen. One Easter egg for you. AC/DC was on tour in England and the Manager of a big hotel told Bon if he trashed the hotel he would be put in jail. So instead of doing the Rockstar thing he did a shit under one of the curtains..
A lot of people, myself included believe heroin had something to do with Bons death. He'd overdosed before . And he was hanging around the guys in UFO at the time he died and they were all dabbling in smack. I'm not suggesting he died of a heroin overdose but it would certainly explain his being so deeply unconscious that he was able to vomit and not wake up.
Bon’s only mistake was getting involved with the Young family. A band that never would’ve made it out of the clubs of Australia had it not been for Bon. R.I.P. ⚡️Legend⚡️
Good news for ACDC fans Bon Scott is alive and well but under a different alias he is actually Colin Hay of "Men at Work". He just had to hangup his image and identity with ACDC. He hated being on tour and on the road for long periods at a time. He wanted to make music on his own terms and likewise perform on the road at his own conveinience! What are the odds both are Australian and though there looks like a difference in their date of birth which is a common practice when receiving a new identity. Just like how Morgan Freeman is Jimi Hendrix and Lady Gaga is Amy Winehouse. And what do all three of these people have in common they came on the scene right after these legendary Icons had supposedly passed on!
Interesting to watch another potted history of Bon Scott and his era with AC/DC (as they’re all slightly different). However, the narration was bloody painful to listen to. It’s obviously a “text-to-audio” program, as there is no intonation or variation in the pacing. Also, the story goes all over the place, backwards and forwards in time and it seems somewhat disrespectful to keep showing photos of AC/DC with Brian Johnston while talking about events with Bon.
Brian Johnson is excellent but nobody sounded and could you sing. Like Bon Scott. I still think Dan would have been better with Bon's voice. I'm a Big AC DC fan I remember the first day Back in Black Came out at my favorite record store i was there buying the new album heard back in black on the radio when the best songs ever but it wasn't Bon's voice his so unique and excellent wish he could have lived on he would have been a plus to any rock band R.IP. Bon you are missed🤘🤘💯🤘🤘😥🖤
why is there a pic of a bon impersonator around the 7:45 mark? kinda funny, because i named my first dog, 'bon', and on my left bicep, i have her name in a heart, with a ribbon, very similar to the pic. she was the best dog ever.
If he didn’t ask God to to forgive him he’s definitely off tha highway to hell & in hell. No stop signs speed limits all his friends are gonna be there to ? Well your friends won’t be friends in hell. But back in black, she’s got tha jack & whole lotta rosy are some of my all time favorites they did.
I respect Brian Johnsons efforts, but when Bon died, for me AC/Dc died. Sure "Back in Black" was great. After that they went downhill. Hated the robo voice. Couldn't watch it all.
Any magazine having him as the greatest frontman of all time should go out of business. Seriously I like him and the albums he made with the band but he gets way too much love while replacement Brian Johnson does not get enough love. The first album with Brian Johnson did better then most of the Bon Scott albums did combined. Seriously I only heard the Scott albums after Back in Black and thought they were a band learning how to be good while Back in Black was legendary. Scott dying lead them to get a better vocalist and lead them to number 1 and be the household name we know today.

A raunchier , grittier, more creative band when Bon was present
The names have been changed, to protect the guilty
And The Rest Is History.
As they say! Cheers!
Bon the best
Yes indeed! Thanks for watching!
I've heard what actually killed him was hypothermia from being left in the car on an extremely cold night/early morning.
AC⚡DC
Brian Johnson is excellent but nobody sounded and could you sing. Like Bon Scott. I still think Dan would have been better with Bon's voice. I'm a Big AC DC fan I remember the first day Back in Black Came out at my favorite record store i was there buying the new album heard back in black on the radio when the best songs ever but it wasn't Bon's voice his so unique and excellent wish he could have lived on he would have been a plus to any rock band R.IP. Bon you are missed🤘🤘💯🤘🤘😥🖤
Agreed! Thanks for watching my video!
Bon was the man
Agreed!
why is there a pic of a bon impersonator around the 7:45 mark?
kinda funny, because i named my first dog, 'bon', and on my left bicep, i have her name in a heart, with a ribbon, very similar to the pic.
she was the best dog ever.
4:26. That's The Winstons from Wash DC- US. & 4:22 Is that the Spektors? I don't see Bon
So this video is saying Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap wasn't released in the States until 1981? Explain how i had it in 1977.
dave evans doesn't count. they never did an album with him as singer.
Fan since '74, via KSAN.
Death By Misadventure,,,,,just like Brian Jones.
Sad. Heroin took out Phil Lynott and more.
I prefer "Have a Drink On Me".
Ronald Belford Scott RIP
Killer front man.
Bon was a good lad.
Bon and Malcolm where AC/DC. Brian no way he never come as close to Bon. Imo. R.I.P. BON AND MALCOLM.
Yeah but He's still alive and kicking.
"Im not AC or DC im the flash in the middle"-*Bon Scott 🎤⚡
If he didn’t ask God to to forgive him he’s definitely off tha highway to hell & in hell. No stop signs speed limits all his friends are gonna be there to ? Well your friends won’t be friends in hell. But back in black, she’s got tha jack & whole lotta rosy are some of my all time favorites they did.
What they are now..is good..not as great as they were with Scott
Its like this was cowritten by 5 or 6 peoplre who each told no one what they would cover ....so much redundancy
0:29 cool irony
Вокал мощнейший ..лидер Ac/Dc...жаль его..
Shazbot nanew nanew
I respect Brian Johnsons efforts, but when Bon died, for me AC/Dc died. Sure "Back in Black" was great. After that they went downhill. Hated the robo voice. Couldn't watch it all.
ac/dc are not heavy metal. their blues hard rock.
Why the AI commentary?
Je veux mourir comme lui
Bon Scott was best singer.Brian Johnson is ok,sorry Brian.
Legend? No! Tragic death? No! Bon was an alcoholic with no intention of ever stopping.
The greatest singer, EVER.
He was anoying as hell to me.
How was he as annoying as hell to you B379???
Any magazine having him as the greatest frontman of all time should go out of business. Seriously I like him and the albums he made with the band but he gets way too much love while replacement Brian Johnson does not get enough love. The first album with Brian Johnson did better then most of the Bon Scott albums did combined. Seriously I only heard the Scott albums after Back in Black and thought they were a band learning how to be good while Back in Black was legendary. Scott dying lead them to get a better vocalist and lead them to number 1 and be the household name we know today.
How can this dude be a legend? 99.9% of the people never heard of him.
How old are you man? There isn't a rock and roll fan over the age of 45 who hasn't heard of Bon Scott.
@@Cincinnatus1869 I googled this dude - I get it now, he was in AC/DC but I never liked nor listened to heavy metal type stuff, so that's why I never heard of him
@@biff408 ACDC is a.long way from heavy metal. They have more in common with Chuck Berry than they have with Megadeth or Judas Priest
