Statistically speaking it pushes 9,99,000 into a state where they don't want to do a corporate job nor buisness(startup) after not being able to crack this exam they get demotivated.
Yes this exam help you to get extremely consistent (in studies and in any activity thereafter).
But a majority of youth i.e.99% people confidence in life gets shattered after this. So glorifying this exam too much and the respect which officers get after cracking it is not a good thing.
Entrepreneurs (Wealthy people) need to be celebrated they have to be glorified to as greater extent as IAS,IPS,IRS,.. (Of course shark tank india is doing that job but still the Mission is not reached even half level)
So that at least the per capita income of this country should go up.
Because due to this exam people are ready to sacrifice *earning money* over *earning respect*. Some qoutes of famous people to explain the meaning of this sentence
People don't want money they want white collar jobs- Rakesh Jhunjhunwala
People Don't want to be wealthy they want to be famous(climb up in the status game to get respect)/Status what drives people -Kunal shah
But this is high time to understand that our per capita income is very low And Unemployment Rate is so high and major reason for this is somewhere the UPSC exam. Due to which young people who should build companies and create employment are busy in this exam which gives only 1000seats and in contrast to that
There are 7000 public listed companies and Lakhs of private ltd co.& MSME's in india
This shows that there are so much seats available here rather than chasing those 1000 seats only

Its good that she has topped UPSC... but its not great..!! If someone have all the resources for something then there are much more chances that he or she will achieve their target... if someone dont have any kind of liabilities... , Came from a family of decent financial background.. already having another option in career n have support of family..then it not too tough to clear UPSC.. only thing which needed is clarity... I dont know why ppl make showbiz of success like ... Tina Dabi, Gamini singhla, Akshat jain... Instead interview them who has succeeded from scrap....!! No one writes a book about how to clear UPSC if someone having full time job, low financial stability , came from a low strata of society or having kids n family to take care of... Its too easy to drive on a clear road... But its too tough to first make a road then drive on...

    1) Be 120% sure about your choice.
    2) Start newspaper reading early.
    3) Use google for controversial topics.
    4) Start with Basic Books and build conceptual understanding.
    5) Fitness is important.
    6) Self doubt, guilt, fear of failure are constant companion.
    Strategy fails not YOU.
    7) Accept your mistakes and Stay confident.
    8) mistakes of 1st attempt.
Mental prep - lack.of confidence,,,negativity,,,too harsh on myself
    Actual prep.- Took mocks lightely,,,
    9) Interview prep. - check ur confidence and honesty....You can't fool them... NOs over Lies... Give opinions
    10) Maintain Your individuality...Know yourself.

    2. Start early, start today.
    3. Your productive hours is only for your goal. Make it a routine.
    4. Mild exercise daily and nutritious food.
    5. Watch the experiences of people who did it and how they did it, which resources helped most.
    6. Stick to the basics for the preparation.

exams like UPSC or JEE Advance are not just normal exams they are extremely difficult journeys that require a lot of self-belief, discipline, sacrifices, and a lot more
in exams like UPSC one is exposed to a very wide spectrum of knowledge and literature
every great writer was once an amateur
expertise to write a book will obviously come with time
when comes to writing a book yes experience does matter
the book is obviously not perfect but that doesn't mean it is useless

She belongs to elite family, both her parents are dr, in other words she is born with silver spoon, plz show those people who belong to poor backgrounds and then fought to top…, this is not a best example of aspiring story… such people get best school, best environment at home and money and guidance at every stage, so how come her story be inspiring….I have one my classmate whose father was labourer , who died when he was in plus two, and he studied very hard and tought students to earn money during college days and got in to msc zoology in HPU, then cracked csir and then both state pcs and upsc in 2010 , at age of 25… he is serving in Hp district under home cadre… show choose inspiring story wisely, don’t pick up elite people.., they are just product of their environment
