Watch Geoff Keighley's interview with the Valve team he posted after the trailer was announced. They said it's a full blown AAA production for this game so it's a full-length legit Half-Life experience game and not just a short one.
i just saw that was a thing so for sure going to put that on and watch it. super excited for this!
According to the dev-interview it's supposed to be a full triple-AAA VR-game, currently getting hyped up as the Mario64 of VR. :)
from this trailer it looks like it. im very excited for more info about this game. looks like its time to invest in a VR set
@@JohnMatrixTV It's really interesting, even those that haven't ever tried VR are excited to play this now, like yourself investing in a headset. I think for those that haven't tried VR, and are impressed by the trailer are going to be blown away by what they experience in VR. Pretty much everyone i know who said they weren't interested or didn't like VR, prioer to trying VR changed their mind after trying it. So this game just might be what VR needs.
there are lots of great VR games, VR has been worth investing in for over 2 years now. it's true until pretty recently there were few large scale games, but VR's interactivity and immersion makes the content of interactive games a lot more than they are on paper, and there are quite a few pretty extensive games to jump into.
shooters in particular are incredible in VR, get yourself a set and join us in games like onward, contractors and pavlov while you wait for HL:A, also check out boneworks, it comes out next month, is heavily HL inspired and has a very similar interactive game world with advanced physics.
and hey, if you decide to jump in with both feet and get an index, which is soooo worth it by the way, you get HL:A free, and some extra content as well. its already in my steam library, staring at me, mocking me, making me imagine the day that play button appears.
and this is just the start, valve is rolling out the full source 2 SDK including all the VR assets from HL:A so there is going to be a huge modding scene for this game much like HL2 has enjoyed.

Loan Echo I would call the first AAA quality VR game. But I'm really stoked for this.
