Here’s a success story. About two weeks ago I thought “gee, it’s been such a dry dry-season. We need a cyclone to flush the creeks and water the rainforest.... thank you.” Well, we just copped a direct hit from a cat 2 cyclone that dropped up to 1500mm 4 & 1/2 feet of rain on us in four days.... record flooding in some areas near here. Look us up... Port Douglas Australia, TC Jasper. Be careful what you wish for.
