I'm glad you mentioned Rob Halford. I keep thinking that Beast in Black is like what Judas Priest would be if you were to take Judas Priest but then you added more Judas Priest to it.
This entire album is amazing. It's like they took everything that was great and that I love about 80's music and crammed it into one album. It's one of very few albums I actually listen to from start to finish now days.
@@GoreCoreReactsandReviews It's a little bit of everything that album. I feel like every song leans into some aspect of 80's music. Some songs are almost Pet Shop Boys-ish while others sounds straight up like Accept or Judas Priest. All songs are awesome though and I promise you, you won't be disappointed by the vocals. You've only scratched the surface.
You should try the Finnish band Wintersun (mixed harsh and gritty clean vocals, power/melodic death/black metal). Their song "Sons of Winter and Stars" is a master class in drumming and guitar solos. Great reaction, keep rocking.
Great Live Band!!! If you want more "power metallish" Beast, I highly recommend their first two albums. They changed their heavy style a little bit, but they still make great songs. But you should really see them live! Best Regards from Finland!
They have onlly great songs. I have all 3 cd's and they become a favorite since the first cd 2017. So whatever video you chose .... they are good songs. But try Blind & Frozen. Great song and video .... and you can hear Yannis song tecnique. He is one of the best
@@GoreCoreReactsandReviews My wife become a fan since i played Blind And Frozen for her :) After that she was crazy in that band. I play myself and write songs .... but a harder style. But when i am depressed i put on Beast In Black and i'm smiling again ha ha ha
@@metalviking6476 Absolutely! The power metal bands that I do enjoy are great for putting me in a good mood. I too play harder stuff (death metal), but it's nice to mix things up :)
@@GoreCoreReactsandReviews I'm not into that much of Power metal, but there's bands that i like alot. Have you heard PAINMUSEUM? That style fits me more :) That band was Tim's and Metal Mike's band and i loved them :) Check them up. They have one promo video. My songs are a mix of all hardrock, metal and thrash. Some said i have a little death too in some songs. But .... More Beast In Black .... and try Battle Beast too. Anton (The blond guitarrist) started Battle beast and leaved and started Beast In Black. Kasperi (The dark haired guitarrist), was in Udo before and joined Beast. Great guitarplayers both of them
@@GoreCoreReactsandReviews And the singer of Primal Fear (Ralf Scheepers) was very close to join Judas Priest after Rob Halford left the band at that time... 😉
This is not where to start with Beast in Black, it is good, but not their best in my personal opinion, though there isn't a song they have I don't like on all 3 of their albums. The 2 you need to start with are Blind and Frozen and From Hell With Love, I would recommend the latter with your style first unless you are a Nightwish fan, then the 1st one is the better choice. Also: "He has some pipes on him"......this being your first outing with Yannis...you have no idea, he has his own youtube channel where he does a few vocal covers, his range is off the charts. The band moved to my top band a few years ago, I highly recommend them to anyone, you will get some nostalgia 80s vibes from a lot of their music, your references to Rob Halford are very much justified.

Well, if the rest of the songs are nearly as good as this one then i'm sure I'll enjoy it! This song is definitely very fun and catchy!

@@pianoblackskyAwesome! I"m definitely a sucker for that 80s vibe :)
Saw these guys live in Amsterdam and Luxembourg a few weeks ago, as opener at the Nightwish concerts. Enjoyed it a lot, kickass live show!!!
Very nice!
Saw them live in Berlin and Munich. They are amazing on stage !
Quite the JP Painkiller album vibes... and that's a big compliment. 🙂
Beast in Black❤

BIB is even better live. Saw them live in Gothenburg and they blew me away. Anton Kabanen is the mastermind.
That's awesome! \m/

Saying ripped off is just being a dick. Everything is ripped off of something. That's how sounds evolve.
Oh absolutely, most bands take their influences and put them into their own music, can't argue with you there :)

@@michael.albinus Absolutely! I Love Primal Fear's first album, I actually heard them before Priest and checked them out because of PF.
