Check out Delta PAG brushless fans...Those are some very powerfull fans...they are brushless and variable speed and you can use them with or without a controller. I replaced my two Spal 12 inch fans with two 12inch Delta PAG fans on my Polaris RS1 and I couldnt be happier...No more listening to fans coming on and off and 15 degree temp swings like i had before. The Delta PAG fans ramp up and down as needed to provide the cooling that the engine requires.
2:49😂😂😂🤔🧐 " now let's see how much air it moves with no obstructions in the way " while I obstruct the airflow by putting a flow meter in front of it 😂🤣😂🤣 BRILLIANT!
No doubt that Maradyne Fan won this round, Personally used Maradyne fans (130 watt & 225 watt) no issues it at all for more than 2 years. Maradyne is better than Spal if you compare all fan sizes and specifications, but Spal have good looking and marketing.
You should have foy the high performance version of the spal fan u have in the video because the motor on the hp version is just as big as the other fan u have
I really enjoyed your test, I have used both fans and they both have been great and I would probably never venture off , although I have in the past, and did not find anything that would compare. I myself do not like either of your plugs , These type of plugs fail sometimes. I like the idea that you solder the wires, This will help. Now if you want something complete bulletproof and you really need to depend on it , There is nothing like a direct splice and soldered. I use these type of plugs on my race cars only if I need to have a disconnect. Both are great plugs . And thank you for the test.
Awesome test bro... But don't forget the load in the dynamo is also important. How many amperes in both? This question need to keep in mind especially if you will go with more than one fan. Good luck 👍
Spal makes different levels of power and flow for each fan size...this is one of their lower to mid tier flowing fans. Even still, the spal flowed like 30-50% more than they rated it for. That's pretty awesome.

I did the Lincoln mark viii and it pulls about 4000 cfm it’s crazy strong!!
Both fans will cool 1000hp cars no problem you really can't go wrong with either one.
In my experience the Spal lasts longer.

Good tests and great advice on connections.
It’s been 3 years since this vid was uploaded. Would you buy a Spal again?

I had 2 spal fans in a 400hp miata. 90 degree days at the drag strip hot lapping never got over 200 degrees.
Hell yeah

I actually stopped using those type of connectors. I recently switched to aptiv 280 connectors. They work great
Thanks for the info. Keep the video coming
Any special requests? Always looking for ideas!

@@coryvinson8343 that's funny. I was looking at oil coolers the other day. If I do it, it'll definitely be a video
What was the Area that you entered into the Anemometer for the CFM Measurement?
So with CCA wire would recommend 10 guage instead of 12?
Show how you connect the wire to test it

The maradyne seemed quieter than the spal. Can you confirm?
I honestly don't remember. It's been a long time

Both of them are high quality. Not eBay fans.
