  • Zee and I went to Fisherman's village which is one of the best seafood markets in Rawai Phuket. You will find more unique and live seafood at this market. It definitely isn't the cheapest but for sure a great experience.

1400 baht for all that was eaten didn't seem like a lot...in America you would have doubled or even tripled that price and it would have not been fresh..definitely looked like some good eating and will have to try it out end of the month

I totally agree with you. From what I've been hearing prices have skyrocketed over the last few months in the States. It's the perfect time to be here. Not all kooked out with too many tourists.

Heard people saying if you’re foreigner, they will charge different price which is more expensive?
And heard that they will switch the seafood we chose with frozen ones after we pass to them to cook.
    How true is this?

Definitely pay more as a foreigner unless you're very good at bartering. As far as switching the food I don't know but it's definitely possible.

Change the title to most expensive seafood market in Phuket. How many locals do you see buying from there?

    • @bugeater38

Mostly Thais while we were there. Can't say if they were locals. My wife bought everything we ate at a significant discount.

Yep, had to get used to my partner crunching down on shrimp heads too. As for raw fish, only salmon sushi for me 👍

Things were a little over priced especially what they charged for cooking. Other than that it was a stellar experience. Thanks for watching...

Yes, there were some huge ones. But quite expensive. They are bringing a lot of the seafood in from Ranong. Their are collection stations there where the Burmese come and sell seafood for rock bottom prices.
