  • Shows how to install a small round vinyl window in a sailboat dodger or any canvas or vinyl top. Step by step instructions including: Cutting circular opening in canvas, how to sew a bias binding around a circle using a right angle binder, cutting and basing the vinyl window material and then sewing the window in place. For more instructional videos and canvas and sailmaking supplies visit: www.sailrite.com
Note: If your window installation is large it is highly recommended that the window be sewn down to the canvas before the canvas is cut out of the center. This will help avoid puckering and wrinkling of the canvas. So, this video should not be used for large windows installations.

The rest of his canvas job he used a clear Tenara thread it blends into most colors well, so when he sewed the blue canvas it does not show up as much as a black thread would. Tenara thread is UV proof where Polyester is only UV resistant.
