Good for both parties!!! Good luck to Peat with the Raiders!!
Never thought he was coming back. Saints were 13 million in dead money for his contract already then if you try signing him to market deal you would be paying him basically twice and it's just doesn't make sense financially. Saints sometimes have to walk away and this was good for them IMO.
Good for Peat
Peat was actually a good player he played multiple positions
Now that we know that AP cannot be available to fill in as needed, it really puts pressure on the O-line. We have to hope and pray that Fuaga does what we think he can at RT, Saldiveri can step into the guard spot, Ruiz gets his head out of his ass and Penning actually figures it out at LT. McCoy will be solid as always. Still MAJOR questions about this unit.
@@MosheGoldbergTheKing Agreed!
I’d keep him at right for now. He’s been developing for four years his soft tissue strength, which include the connective tissue that players pull, strain and tear.
Maybe I’m being a squirrel, but I’m believing Penning is going to step up.
Is Peat signing with Raiders funny, or it’s just me. 😁
About time the Raiders took some of the Saints scraps.
Penning has to hit. I fully expected Ramcyzk was gone. We have his replacement with fuaga
Good!
Tell Mike Detiller it's next man up theory.
If the Saints and Raiders combined rosters and took the best guys could they build a SB winner? Probably not.
100%
Peat was Penning once upon a time Matt
Glad your back Matt. I got tired of hearing Kirbet the Frog subbing for you
Losing starting OL men and replacing them with Rookies and FAs, is not a reason for optimism.
It usually results in disaster.
Sounds like Carr's going to break the record in check-downs this year. Good thing he always get an phantom "injury" after halftime but is ALWAYS able to play the next game. Can't figure out why we're ranked 30. . . . Surprised it isn't 32.
Matt! There’s no N in our new tackle’s name. It’s foo-AH-gah. Not foo-UNG-guh. And you’re not alone! Most N.O. Podcasters are making the same mistake.
Matt why you keep saying Fuanga, his last name is Fuaga
Pronunciation is different
Jake Haener ain't doing a thing buy cashing checks. Let's see what he can do at left tackle!💀☠
Well, let #70 Penning assume that OT job. He'll be Fine. Same with the Rook' Fuaga.
😂
😅😂❤🎉
Killing his last name. Cmon man….
Matt... there isn't a "N" anywhere in Fuaga's name...
The G in his name is meant to be pronounced as NG. It’s a Pacific Islander thing.
@@saintsuperbowl09 kewl.. good heads up, but someone needs to tell the rest of the league cuz it seems like Matt is the only one pronouncing his name correctly.. lol
The Raiders are the elephant graveyard of the NFL.
Peat was a bad pick he just wasn’t good and always hurt they paid him too much
He started for 9 seasons played in over 100 games and made 3 pro bowls. Not a single offensive lineman drafted after peat made multiple Pro Bowls. He might not be an All-Pro… but he was not a bad draft pick.
He wasn't a bad pick bruh
You can do a whole lot worse than Peat dude. He was an elite run blocker. Subpar pass blocker, but his run blocking was great.
He was a definitive starter.
He did love to hold at the very best times but he was a decent player when he was on the field.
