Have you ever done work experience abroad? How did it go? 🙃
Amazing new day in the life in Lithuania 🇱🇹 Vilnius looks fantastic and your pastries stunning as always! Those berries were new to me 🤪
Haha honeysuckle berries are the best! So many of them in Lithuania in summer, pure vitamins 💪😀
Ačiū labai! Loved this experience so much🌿
Yay, so happy to see another one of my absolute favorite styles of video from you! Thank you Kris for all that you do to show us. I hope to see more from you ♥️
Hey! And I am absolutely enjoy reading your feedback! Thank you so much!
I do enjoy doing my series ‘A day in the life..’ a lot, it’s kind of personal & professional at the same time :)
See you in the next one!
Thank you so much for filming and editing so detailedly the steps of baking them! These pastries are so lovely and I just discovered a new interest! 😍😊
Hello! thank you so so much! I definitely pour my heart in each video, always doing the best for my RUclips family!
Thank you and see you soon!🙌🏻
Wonderful Video Kris👌. Lovely to see you in your Home Country 😀. Thanks So Much for sharing ☘🥰.
Hi Ievina! How are you? :)
Yes it’s always a pleasure to come back ☺️ i was so excited to do this experience as I was trained in London so was curious to see a kitchen life here:)
Thank You so much! See you soon! 😊
Thank you so much for sharing this. It brings back memories of when I lived in Vilnius for a year and spent many visits there. I am glad to see you have such pastries. The first time I visited LT, it was 2002, and there weren't such quality pastries around. In more recent visits, I have been really impressed with the level of creativity and quality.
Hello! Uh no surprise there were not many places in 2002, every time i come back I feel really cozy in Vilnius, more and more places keep opening :) hope you can try more interesting places, here is the video where i put together nice places :

Hope to hear your feedback :)) see you in the next one and thank you so much!
Love the video, you show all aspects of the job, even the cleaning, like that.
Hello Harold! Uhh appreciate your comment so much! :)
I like to show all the angles of the day, work in the kitchen is not only wearing fancy white jacket & hat, it involves also a lot of humble experience:))
Thank You again and see you soon!
Hey Kris! Another wow video and I am so hungry seeing all of those fabulous bakes. It would be so hard to decide which I would want first. That hazelnut croissant has my name on it. One of these days I am going to visit. But geez, 12 hours! That is a crazy long shift. Rest up, put your feet up and keep in touch. Xoxo
Hello, ohh yes I see you laid your eyes on hazelnut croissant, good choice 😁 hope you will get a chance one day to pay a visit to Lithuania!🌳 yes it was an intensive days, but long hours in the kitchen is no surprise though. I am taking some time off now, I am in Western Africa right now so already caught up with my sleep🏝 thank you as always for your comment, excited to read them :))
The best! Thanks❤❤❤
Thank you deeply!☺️
very interesting to have a glimpse of Lithuania. Also, the local specialties seem amazing! It’s not surprising that you were tired after your first day in a new workplace…well done on your efforts and talent 👍
Hello Marian, uhh very short glimpse, hope will manage to incorporate more footage from there in an upcoming video 🌳☺️ it was so worth doing this experience, loved the kitchen, staff and things I have learnt :) thank you so much for your comment :)
Aww Vilnius🥰Cant wait to meet again!❤️
🫶🏻 same here ☺️ thank you🎈
Your hometown looks very peaceful and beautifully.
Hey, my country is really beautiful and peaceful, love the nature 🌸 thank you so much!
Thank You 😊 Kris. In my mind I was there with you: prepping cleaning organizing baking etc. many years ago I had wanted to work in a bakery 🧁 so I did for about a year. If you have more footage of Lithuania 🇱🇹 please share with us ( a day in a life of a Lithuanian 🤔); linden tree / tea 🫖 took me back to my childhood, I loved it and the fragrance. Sending you lots of love 💗
Hello Iwona, I felt you 💯 reading your the comment 🥲 I get quite emotional visiting my home country and especially this summer was superb in terms of chill weather and abundance of flowers, blossoms of trees etc. Made me remember my childhood and all good times 🇱🇹 I wand and will try to incorporate more footage from Lithuania in an upcoming video so I also have more memories when I am old 😁 Lots of love back! see you soon and warm regards to all your family!🙌🏻

Looks like you had fun making this video! I also find it a very nice experience, still doing your profession but sometimes in a completely different place with new people. Can't wait to visit Lithuania one day :)
Hi Ferenc, it was a very exciting experience as I am trained in London so to come home and see how things are done is emotional ☺️ i was inhaling all the nature and enjoyed Vilnius 💯 hope you will have a chance to visit it too! all the best and see you soon!☺️
@@KrisKazlauskaite For sure! I always find it so interesting to see how other people do the things I was trained to do as well, it is so insightful and also just a lot of fun!

Kris, great video. Almost (key word is "almost") makes me want to be back in the bakery. Just making a batch of Pain de Campagne and 5-Seed Multigrain to take for the family reunion at the beach. Pastries and cookies yet to make.
Hi Gerry, haha I liked your 'almost' 😀 amazing that you have so much passion for baking.
Thank you for your comment!🙏🏻
Beautiful products!
Thank you😊☺️
Wow loved this vlog! Could you do a video showing how to make the Malt buns or a similar version?
Hey! Thank you so so much!:))
Yes sure! I am always happy to hear suggestions! ✅
Anything else you want to see on my channel? What type of video would make you excited? Curious🤓
@@KrisKazlauskaite I love learning from you as I'm an aspiring baker myself. So any tips or recipes about bread, buns, etc and recipes that are vegan are always good.

professional baker looks super delicious, beautifully presented, have a nice day at work
Hey! Thank you so much! My pleasure to share of course! Have a nice day!☺️
Thanks for the great video! Everything looks beautiful and very high quality! And of course, I could eat the whole lot! 😋 but tel me , did you say “ 12 hours” ? Your shift is 12 hours? I am a baker and I sometimes ( but very seldom) work a 10 hour shift when it is busy and I feel too too tired!
Hi Marisa, My pleasure! May I tell you a little secret? I managed to try basically everything so not only learning how to make them but knowing the taste too 😋 yes i said 12 hours shift, I know it sounds a lot and it feels like a lot but that's how this place works, If I am not mistaken here rota is done 4 days working 3 days off, however, I did did more than that just to learn as much as I can. Thank you one more time☺️
Beautiful Vilnius, hope to relocate there one day & work in the kitchen 😊. Heard the city is home to some of the best restaurants & chefs in Europe.
Hello! Vilnius is definitely growing fast and does offer indeed a very good quality, i truly imagine myself living there☺️
Where are you from? Thank you for such a lovely comment 😇
@@KrisKazlauskaite I'm from the Philippines Chef.
Great video!!! What kind of dough are the strawberry buns?
Hello Marcela, thank you for your question. So the strawberry buns are made of pastry scraps, kind of croissant dough :) If you wanna try making it at home I would do a simple yeast dough :) Happy baking! Kris☺️
What did you say you brush the pastries with at the beginning? It all looks amazing! Thank you so much for this insight ❤️
Hey! yes so we egg wash them before baking (egg yolk + cream). Thank you so much! love sharing my stories! warm regards☺️
Napash? Something like that...?

Can you work in bakery without any degree .?
Hey! It really depends on the employer, I met in my experience people without experience (they decided to change their career path), and they proved to be great chefs and bakers. So yes, you can if you are strongly motivated, willing to learn fast. ☺️
