Esther you are a champ!! You were moving like you were so uncomfortable! Not in a bad way just normal nearing the end. Kind of look… You were a trooper and never sweat a second good luck with the birth!
Not on weed and immediately noticed the same thing. She was moving like she was really uncomfortable in her body. On the contrary,, Whitney Cummings hasn’t stopped moving throughout her pregnancy up until the child’s birth. I don’t think she ever took a break. It’s like she popped out the baby and did the podcast on the same day.
AB- is the rarest blood type, O- is the universal donor (anyone can receive O-) and AB+ is the universal receiver (people with AB+ can receive any type of blood.) Commonly mixed up facts. :)
It’s so lonely being elderly I worked in an old folks home, life is short and having someone around is so comforting when you’re elderly and alone, totally see it from the family’s side but yeah not always going to love the partner of someone we love, have to accept it
That first caller is worried about her grandma being manipulated, which is exactly what's happening. The money thing - that's not yours to have anyway. It's not owed to you. That said, if Bruce loved your grandma, he'd be kind to her family. Maybe the answer is to make sure someone from the family is hanging out with her regularly. Try to push HIM out.
I have to say Moshe. You are the youngest 44 year old in the entire world. A real testament to age is a mindset. You're not an idiot. Actually open minded. A unicorn for 44 year olds. Props to you
My mom was like Esther's mom.. Did everything. I had a rough time learning responsibilities and how to do things as an adult. BUT my dad was an abusive alcoholic so I had a ton of trauma on that side. Like Esther, I made my mom sleep with me for years when I was little. Once I woke up and she was gone. I was 7 and scared and started crying. Did she come back? No, but my dad came in and punched me in the face multiple times and told me to stop acting like a child so there's a bit of a difference there 😂
For the grandmother, she needs to have a durable power of attorney in place as well as a, living will stating that the house will go to another family member, and or sign over the house title to a family member already since she is still living currently. Lots of people try to take advantage of the elderly or what little they still have, and it's important to have a power of attorney in place which is a family member or someone you trust to be in charge of taking any medical or financial decisions for you should you become medically incapacitated.
Natasha saying "I would never describe art as 'sexy'..." says everything I'll ever need to know about her. But I'm already a decade into my casual fandom so here we are.
Lol jeez, when Moshe said "I was very concerned because Natasha said she was bored when she was just sober and sitting there. That seems like the first realization of human existence ever lol You're cookie-cutter good if that's what scares you lol.
Go get paperwork done to make your family power of attorney over her health & financial decisions in the event that she is unable, that way everything is secure if it doesn't work out.
I so disagree. Ghosts are absolutely real. I was afraid of the dark the whole 17 years I lived in my childhood home. I saw ghosts. My siblings all saw them.. It was a dark energy.. As soon as I moved out, I was fine and wasn't afraid anymore.
People who believe in religion can’t make fun of people who believe in astrology. 😅. It’s like someone who drives a giant gas SUV in a city making fun of those giant Stanley cups. Very hypocritical. I was also born mid 80s (elder millennial) and definitely get along with Gen X. I also grew up with no cable or internet until almost moving out to college.
Don’t take away the grandma’s ability to be of her own mind. Then if he marries her, she’s already deemed incompetent. Not great. Let her make her own decisions (maybe discourage from signing any legal documents), but why not move in.
No one gonna read all this, but on the very rare chance the first caller peeps these comments: It's not ok for that Bruce dude to pressure grandma when she's not ready, or to be inappropriate with her granddaughter like that, but grandma likes being with him, so boundaries are the answer. Like, hey, be together and enjoy yourselves, but Bruce doesn't get to isolate her from her friends and family or have full control over grandma's life, and he needs to reel it in with the sexual shit in front of family. You can literally just ask her to hang out with you one on one. You don't have to eliminate this dude. Everyone is talking behind his back and trying to manipulate grandma to get what they want, just like Bruce, instead of just having an honest, respectful conversation with him, and letting him know where everyone stands. Grandma and Bruce both sound very typical of their generation. Bruce has likely had a woman in his life, keeping him company and taking care of the home, for most of his adult years. It's already extremely common for men of all ages to quickly remarry after losing a spouse, esp if they follow traditional gender roles. A man of Bruce's age is going to really struggle with being alone. I've seen it many times, including with my own grandfather. The women can live on their own easier, but they are still naturally going to be lonely, as well. It sounds like Bruce wants to lock down a companion ASAP so he can upgrade apartments & have a woman to take care of his needs. It sounds like he's rude and controlling, but maybe a great hang for grandma when they're alone. She's not a baby, she's as full grown as it gets. She's only had one man, but she's still lived an entire lifetime. Let her have this experience one more time, if she wants to. Understand that this is it for her. She knows how old she is. Bruce knows how old he is. They are already beyond life expectancy. They want connection. She doesn't exist to be grandma, sitting at home waiting for your visits. She exists to live her own life how she wants to. You can actually just support her in telling him that she doesn't like being pressured when you're having the boundaries talk with him. You don't have to be confrontational. Treat him as if he's someone your grandma loves, instead of someone that you hate. Act like adults and treat grandma with respect instead of a child who doesn't know what she's doing. She's telling you what you want to hear, not because she's gullible and stupid, it's to get y'all off her back. She's too old to waste time on all that BS.
🇮🇱Esther just wanted to share something interesting. In the Book of Esther, her cousin is Mordecai, the only family member mentioned well it's a gener neutral name Mordecai. Or if you prefer a feminine unique version for your baby girl, you could consider something like, Mordella, Mordecaia, Mordina, Morticia, or even blending these weirdos names Moshe and Natasha into "Motasha." These names could be a fun way to connect to your biblical heritage and create a name with a special meaning. Best wishes!🐣
Hahahaa it was like Esther was saying something i had thought too but never acknowledge, Moshe seems like an only child!!
I did not want this episode to end! Please do more episodes with Esther and/or solely focused on parenting. I love you all so much 🩷✨

17:42 "In fact, you're a millennial with a Gen Z rising" was a gem. This is why I listen.

"on weed" giving jon stewart vibes from half baked lol
Have you ever seen Sweeny Todd.....on weed?
I totally forgot he was in that!!!
Haha the question about the murder cult in the house killed me. Saying "the bones on this place.. you'd die." Lol. Real estate.

And yes, I am on Weed… So if I’m wrong sorry

Also want to add - I’ve listened to every episode of EHP religiously and this was by far the best yet.
Perfect trio
I went through "both" 😫 #teamcsection yo haha love the pod!!!!!! ❤❤
I had to do an essay then speech on Jehoshaphat in Grade 7 so I am so glad Moshe brought that up for me to relive that trauma
My mom was like Esther's mom.. Did everything. I had a rough time learning responsibilities and how to do things as an adult. I'm 44 too. Spot on.18:17 Neither Gen X or Millennial characteristics ring true.
Esther dropping content like placentas
So, it's abuse when someone in a relationship keeps asking the other one to get married?
What the hell was moshe talking about with the old lady. The proof is in the pudding! What is moshe’s deal
Being an only child is so tough. Especially with old parents.
Important question I don't think was asked, how old is bruce?!
Go get paperwork done to make your family power of attorney over her health & financial decisions in the event that she is unable, that way everything is secure if it doesn't work out.
Esther is painfully gorgeous she's such a little minx

Someone should make a report to your local Adult Protective Services office. They need to meet with grandma and Bruce and investigate this situation.
Older women listen to their lawyers. Call their estate planner to provide advice and guidance to her.
Make sure she knows that her husband would get all of her assets. Does she know this?
Love Natasha 🫶🏼
go esther
how does moshe have only child energy? he totally has "has a genius older brother energy"
Esther’s pronounciation of Latke was soooo painful to hear 😂

Natasha sounding like a propery weedy with her exuses and rationalisations
You know what you did, Moshe. You've been gallivanting around on various podcasts including going on Joe Rogan's show (and you probably liked it SMH).
Thanks I didn't know he went on Joe Rogan now I'm gonna watch it! Lmao
