Haughton/Schindler Elevator Door Fail

This is an odd problem that I found on a Haughton hydraulic elevator modernized by Schindler. Follow me on:

A lot of older elevators do that. They don't pull enough strength to open all the way. That happens on the Main Elevators in Macy*s Herald Square in NYC

My bet is that the open direction limit switch opens early to compensate for the door inertia. Probably the original operator.

Elevator needs re-installed properly, then will make sure if elevator working as normal. What purpose do know engineering service report to safety checks, before riding elevator as normally. How strange this elevator has stoppped working properly!!!

in my nanas building the elevator doors opens 1 second before stopping

Looks like poor quality this elevator, is need fixtures updated it is.
