How President Noboa’s ‘strong hand’ policies against violence in Ecuador are playing out

Not long ago, Ecuador was a beacon of stability in a region known for political unrest and drug trafficking. But now, it’s become one of Latin America’s most violent countries amid a rise in organized crime. Many Ecuadorians are looking to President Daniel Noboa to turn things around.
